It had been a week since the day Drake met the kids and Jeremiah still wasn't talking to Adriana. He went as far as to tell her to text him when she was there to pick the kids up so he can just walk them out. She didn't bother to protest. If he wanted to be mad then she would let him have his space. One thing she did want to solve though was her fall out with Chris. She still hadn't contacted him. She meant to, she had just been so busy since Drake left. He hadn't contacted her either which broke her heart. She knew that meant she was very mean to him the last time she talked to him and he figured she really never wanted to see him again so he let her be. She decided to call him. She picked up her phone and found his number. After only two rings she heard his voice on the other line.

"Hello?" She heard him answer in a surprised tone.

"Hey Chris. How are you?"

She heard him sigh into the phone. "I'm okay. I'd be better if my best friend didn't hate me. But hey, what can I do?"

"I don't hate you Chris. I was just a little shocked, upset, hurt, amongst other things. But I don't hate you. You're still my best friend."

"Am I Dria? Because it took you over a week to call me." Chris told her. She could still hear the hurt in his voice.

"I'm sorry. I wanted to call you when I had time to see you because we need to talk. You could have called me too you know?"

Chris scoffed. "After you kicked me out of your house the way you did? No thanks Dria. You didn't see the way you were looking at me. I wouldn't dare call you after that."

"I said I was sorry Chris. Can you meet me at my studio for lunch? I want us to talk? My treat?" There was a long pause on the other side of the line. "Christopher? You still there?"

He sighed into the phone. "Okay Dria. I'll be there in a little over an hour. Don't worry about buying lunch. I'll pick something up on the way there."

Adriana smiled. "Thank you Chris."

"Yeah. See you soon" he said and hung up.

Adriana looked at her phone and found a second number in there that she needed to call. After a few rings her call was answered. "Hey, Don, it's Adriana, I took your photos a few weeks ago."

He laughed into his phone. "I know. How are you?"

"Good thanks! How are you?"

"No complaints now that I'm talking to you." She could hear in his voice that he was smiling when he said that.

She laughed. "Well I'm glad I could make you're day better I guess. Look, I'm so sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been really busy. I do have the photos ready though. You can swing by and pick them up or I can drop them off ?"

"No need to apologize, I understand. Your timing is perfect actually. I'll be in the area a little later, I can swing by and pick them up."

"Great! Sounds good. I'll see you then."

"You sure will." He told her in a flirtatious tone and hung up

She laughed and shook her head as she hung up the phone. She turned her attention back to what she was working on when her phone rang. She was surprised when she saw Jeremiah's name on the screen. "Hello?"

She heard Jay sigh before he even said anything into the phone. "Hey Adriana, listen, my mom wants to come over and have a little movie night with the kids since Jordan is here. Do you mind if they stay and I take them to school tomorrow?"

"Of course not Jay. That's fine. Does this phone call mean your talking to me now?"

"I wouldn't go that far. Bye Adriana."
