I woke up and Marco wasn't next to me. I got out and went to look for him. He suddenly came into the house in a hurry. "Gather your things we have to leave now."

I quickly ran to my room and changed and got my bags. I knew not to ask anything because he would tell me I have twenty minutes like always, which was weirdly familiar. He quickly came into the room and took my bag, I followed him outside and quickly got into the car.

"Care to explain why we're running like dogs to get out of here?" I asked once we stopped at a red light.

"I can't right now, I have to get you out of here." I looked at him in confusion; "what about you?"

"I'm staying behind." He simply and frantically said. He was acting really weird and had a worried look on his face which made me worry even more.

We arrived at the airport and stood outside his private jet. "Wait for a man named John once you arrive no matter what." I nodded frantically. He looked as if he knew trouble was coming. He never looked worried and that's what scared me.

He kissed me like he knew it was our first and last kiss and he'd never seen me again. Something indescribable surged through me at the sudden contact, his lips against mine were soft and I never wanted to let him go. He pulled away and pushed me forward to the jet. I sat by the window seat once I got on and watched Marco leave.

I walked to the exit of the airport looking for any clue that could lead me to John. I saw a stout man standing by a sleek black car holding a poster with the name Loni on it.

I walked over to him, "are you John?" He nodded, "yes ma'am." He had a southern accent and a slight soft tone to his voice. He opened my door and put my bag in the boot once I was settled in.

"You hungry?" He asked after he had been driving for a while. The last time I ate was at the Valenti's and I felt like it was my fault they started arguing. He looked at me from the rear view mirror and I nodded.

He stopped at a fast food joint and he ordered for us while I went to the restroom. I dialed Kwano's number and it went on voice mail. "Please call me when you get this it's urgent. I need you to remain in Atlanta for a few days don't go back to New York, I think we're in danger." I said after the beep.

I got out and saw John waiting at a table. "We can't stay and eat, I'm afraid we have to get moving we still have a long way." I nodded and he carried our food as we headed to the car.

I ate my food in silence and John didn't touch his. "Do you work for Marco?" I asked after a while.

He gave me a confused stare on the rearview mirror but then he quickly covered it. "Yes ma'am" he replied curtly. After a while of sitting in silence my eyes suddenly felt droopy and I felt dizzy. I tried keeping my eyes open but I couldn't.

"I'm sorry ma'am." I heard John say before I fell into oblivion.

I opened my eyes and noticed I'm still in the car. "You're finally awake" a voice said. I tried to remember what happened and the last person I remember seeing was John. "Where am I? Where's John?" I noticed that was not the car John was driving and it was dark outside. I must've been out for a while.

"Oh right, him." A familiar voice said. The person turned to me from the passenger seat. "Logan what are you doing here and where are you taking me?"

"We are just taking a ride unfortunately John couldn't join us, he already completed his task." he said and turned back. "I'm hungry" I said after what felt like a few hours. "What should I do about it?" Logan asked obviously irritated.

"Something along the lines of buying me food." He rolled his eyes "here's a pack of gum" he threw the gum at me but I didn't catch it.

"What am I supposed to do with this? I'm hungry and I want real food not something I can chew just to become hungry again."

He huffed "do you ever stop talking damn." He was never like this, was he pretending all that time? He was too good to be true. I glared at him, sort of challenging him with my stare. He smirked and widened his eyes at a discovery, he turned away from me.

He muttered something in another language to the driver and several long minutes later we pulled up at a diner. We made our way inside and got into a booth.

"I need the bathroom" I said after we ordered. Logan followed me and waited for me outside a stall. That just ruined my plans of getting a cellphone. I needed to speak to Kwano.

"Was it necessary to come in the bathroom with me?" I asked when once we're back to the booth. He held my chin tightly and moved closer to me. "Just be grateful I didn't go in the in stall with you." He stared at me intently and I shuddered in fear.

He kissed me roughly and I squirmed, a gun was pressed against my back and I stopped. I didn't return the kiss, and the gun dug deeper, a clear warning. I kissed him back to look like a couple madly in love. He kissed me fervently and thrust his tongue deeper when I whimpered. He had the dominance, he was clearly enjoying it. He pulled away with a satisfied smirk and I wiped a stray tear on my cheek.

I lost all my appetite but I was forced to eat, I just wanted to get a cellphone and was not likely to get one from a toilet at a gas station. "We can't let you see where we're taking you." Logan said.

"Why not?" he looked at me like I was stupid. "This won't hurt one bit." He said and jabbed an injection into my leg. I felt my eyes closing and I succumbed to the darkness.

I woke up hours later and noticed we were in a a private jet. I looked around and it was the same one as Marco's and the seats had the same MV initials on the seats. "Why are we in Marco's private jet?" Logan had a confused look "who's Marco?"

"The owner of this jet" one of the men realised who I was talking about. "Oh you mean Rico."
