Chapter Eleven

Harriet was now officially friends with Malfoy, sure they didn’t talk to each other in front of people but when they were only to themselves they were the best of friends. Detention was that time that they always talked, considering it was the only span of time they were left alone together.

“There’s another Hogsmeade trip this weekend right?” Asked Malfoy one day when they were in the library, Professor Flitwick had paired them up together in Charms Class, the class was jumbled up so everyone had to have a partner from a different house Harriet found herself lucky to be paired up with her new friend.

“Yup,” said Harriet nodding as she finished up her part of their essay; she glanced at her watch and knew she had to finish up, she was supposed visit Uncle Remus that afternoon and watch Harry’s Patronus lesson. “Okay it’s done.” She then pushed the essay to Malfoy, who shook his head

“No it isn’t.” he said pushing it back to her, Harriet raised her eyebrows and Malfoy pointed to the topmost part of the parchment where the name usually went. “You forgot to write our names.”

Harriet looked down at the parchment and laughed, earning a glare from Madam Pince, she looked up at Malfoy who just smirked

“You wrote the first half you write it.” She said pushing the parchment towards him “You know how awful my handwriting is.” She added with a pout, Malfoy just laughed

“C’mon just write and you’re free to go.” Harriet then grabbed the parchment and wrote vigorously “Hey make sure you write clearly!” Harriet just nodded and waved a hand dismissively as she wrote,

“Draco… Lucius…. Malfoy….” She mumbled as she wrote “and… Harriet… Lily… Evans. Here!” she earned another glare from Madam Pince but ignored it and handed the parchment to Draco who smiled

“You seem excited to leave.” He noted, as Harriet fixed up her things “Finding my company awful?”

Harriet snorted

“No,” she said “I just need to go somewhere. Well I’ll see you later bye!” she then headed out of the library and to Uncle Remus’ office.

Harriet knocked once on the door, when she heard Uncle Remus’ voice telling her to enter, she did as she was told and got inside. Once she was inside, she dropped her bag on the usual chair beside the door where she always placed her bag,

“Uncle Remus?” she called, as she walked “Where are you?”

“Over here Lily,” she heard Uncle Remus call, Harriet walked towards where her Uncle’s voice was coming from and found him closing up an old trunk, seeming to struggle. Harriet got out her wand and helped her Uncle close up the trunk.

“What was in there?” Harriet asked, as she sat on the trunk. Uncle Remus smiled

“Boggart.” He said simply, wiping some sweat on his forehead “For Harry’s Patronus practice.”

Harriet nodded and looked around the office, it was cleared. The chairs were pushed to the sides along with most of the things; some there were some small boxes around so Harriet assumed that Uncle Remus shrank his things put them inside the boxes and shrank the boxes themselves.

“Harriet dear would you mind fixing us some hot chocolate and some snacks?” asked Uncle Remus, Harriet nodded and jumped off of the trunk, she then headed to the small kitchen area and started, keeping her wand close at reach in case of any emergency.

As Harriet made their snacks and hot chocolate, Uncle Remus was in the part of his office where he was going to teach Harry how to ward off dementors, currently waiting for his student. The small kitchen area wasn’t near that area so Harry wouldn’t be able to see Harriet immediately when he came.
