Chapter 25

(Caden pov)

A little while after Raven when back into the bathroom, Nick knocks on the door. I'm a little nervous about telling him what happen. But I won't keep secrets from him. Okay here it goes. I open the door for him. He looks around as he walks in. "She still in the shower?"

"Well, she came out earlier, but we kind of."

Nick just looked at me "It's okay Caden. We talked about this."

"Yea I know Nick, But I messed up I didn't use protection. She said she's on the pill but I know we agreed to use it."

Nick looked at me I could tell he was not happy, but before he could say anything Raven came out.

(Raven pov)

I walked out of the bathroom, and seen Caden standing there with Nick. Nick didn't look to happy. I guess Caden told him. "Hey Nick!" I walked up and gave him a kiss. Then asked him "Are you ready?"

He looked at me "Yeah! Let's go." He looked at Caden. I knew he was mind linking him.

Then we walked out and headed to the cells. I stopped him outside and asked "What did you say to Caden back there. I could tell you were mind-linking him."

"I told him it was very irresponsible not to use protection."

"It's not like I give him a chance." Then I turned and walked in. I felt a little nervous walking down the stairs it reminded me of the cells from my old pack.

A cold chill ran thou me, and Nick put his arm around me pulling me close. I looked up at him. "Are you okay?"

He looked at me "I just don't like you being down here."

"That's okay I don't like being down here either, but I need to see him."

"I know. That's why I'm bringing you."

We walk thou a door and into a poorly lite room. It was cold and smelly. I looked at Nick with sorrowful eyes. "He's in here?" Nick didn't say anything. We walk alittle bit more and turn to a cell. I see the pup laying in a little bed covered up. I looked at Nick "Open the door."

"No! You can't go in there."

"Why?"

"Because he might hurt you."

I was starting to get mad "Open the door Nick. Now!" He stood there just looking at me. He took a deep breath. "Fine, but I'm coming in with you."

"Fine" and he opened the door. The pup was now sitting up looking at us. I looked at him sadly, and slowly walked over to him not wanting to scare him. "Hi! My names Raven. What's your name?"

He looked at me with sad/scared eyes. "My names Noah. I'm sorry Raven, I didn't know he was going to really hurt you. I thought we were just going to scare you. I'm so sorry."

He covered his face with his arm and I moved closer getting a disapproval growl from Nick. I waved him off, and sat next to Noah on the bed. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he jumped away.

"I'm sorry. It's okay. I won't hurt you."

He looked at me and I could see so many cuts and bruises. He looked like he was brutal beating. "Oh my goddess, Who did this to you?" He didn't say anything but I already knew. I turn and faced Nick. "Nick?" When he didn't answer I knew for sure. "Nick, get out." He looked at me shocked. "You are not safe"

"Nick I am fine. Go get the pack doctor. I want him to check Noah out, and make sure his okay."

"I can just link him. I don't have to leave."

I was starting to get mad again. "Nick, I'm fine. Just leave." As a low growl escaped me.

He just looked at me and then turned and walked out. I turned back to Noah. He was shocked that I talked to the alpha like that. I just smiled. Then his eyes widen with shock "Your, your the Luna. Oh my goddess. I had no clue. That's why they hate me so much. We attacked there Luna."

"I wasn't the Luna at the time, I never would of thought I would be either. I didn't even belong to this pack."

"What? But so many people seem to care about you. They gave me disgusting look as that one guy drag me here."

I looked at him. "This pack is different. They really care about each other. Nothing like my old pack. But that a long story."

"I'd like to hear it."

"Some other day. But for now, Why are you a rouge? And why were you with them?"

Noah looked down "My mother died given birth to me, so my father never wanted anything to do with me. My brother was ten and he raised me. But a couple of years ago he started getting close to this girl, our Alpha's daughter, they weren't mates but they really seemed to love each other. She treated me good too. But when the alpha found out he was furious. He exiled my brother, and scents he's the only family I have I went with him. She found her mate but she still sends him letters."

I looked at him, "Wow! How old are you?"

"Fifteen. I'll be sixteen soon."

"Where is your brother now?"

"Back at our home. He's probably mad at me for not being home."

"More like panicking. You should call him. I want to talk to him too."

"Okay." I hand him my phone, and he starts to dial. I hear a voice pick up. "Adam it's me." I could hear the worry in the voice on the phone. "Adam I'm okay." There was a pause. "Their dead, but I'm okay. There's this lady she want to talk to you." And then he hand me the phone.

"Hello!"

"Where's my brother? Can I have him back? Please I'm sorry for whatever they did. Please don't hurt him."

"That group, they attacked a girl and beat her but she killed two of them." I started to shake but continue "But when the other one started touching her inappropriately, your brother tried to stop him. But was able to give enough time for her pack to get there. So."

I looked at Noah as I continued "He will be let go. But first you must come here to get him."

"Okay were?"

"Alpha Nicholas's lands. I will let him know you are coming."

"It will take me a day to get there. Will he be safe there until then."

"Yes! I will keep him with me."

"Okay I'm on my way."

"Call this number when you get here."

"Okay. Please tell him I'm coming."

"Okay bye"

"Bye"

Just then the pack doctor came in. He started to check him over. I looked over and seen Nick and Keegan standing there. I guess I need to let them know that I'm letting him go tomorrow. And he will be staying with me tonight. Well here it goes.
