(Alpha Kent pov)
I walk in to my office and look down at the girl in my arms. I've known her since we were in diapers. I lay her on the couch, and walk over to my desk. I sit down running my hands though my hair. I am so mad right now at my pack members, but also at my self for not protecting her. I started thinking about the way Raven was and come to realize it's been going on for along time. Which makes me fell even more frustrated. I growl out felling like I'm going to pull my hair out. Then there is a small knock at my door. "WHAT!" I hear the door being pushed open. I snap my head up to see my mate, Leann, walking in. I take a deep breath letting her sent calm down my wolf.
She gives me a questioning look. So I tell her everything. I can see the pained look in her eyes. Which my wolf tells me to hold her. I wrap my arms around her and say more to my self " What am I going to do?" She looks up at me her eyes filling with tears " Call Alpha Nicholas " then she kisses me and walks out.
I stand there for a minute before walking over to my desk again. Alpha Nicholas was my mates old Alpha. He is a very good man, and would take good care of Raven. I look over at her as I pick up the phone and dial the number. It rings twice before I hear
"Hello"
"Is Nicholas there?"
"Yea! Who may i say is calling."
"Alpha Kent"
"Oh"
Then there was silent before I hear a voice say, " Hello Kent! Is everything okay?"
I let out a deep breath before starting "Well not really, I need to ask a favor of you!"
I continued and filled him in on what's been going on. When I finished I asked "Can she come and stay with you. She is very kind and very strong. She is one of my best female warriors. She is a hard worker and..." Before I get a chance to say anything more, Nicholas says "Of course"
"What" I say kind of shocked
"I will take care of her. When do you want me to come and get her"
"Well she is passed out now and will be til morning. Could you make the trip tonight?"
When it's silent on the other end of the line, I start worrying that he might change his mind. Then Nicholas said "We could be there in a few hours."
I let out a sigh "Thank you Nicholas! I own you one." Nicholas just chuckle and says "It's all good. See you soon. Bye!"
"Bye!" I hang up and I get up from my desk and walk over to Raven. I grab a blanket and cover her up. I can fill the rage of what they did to her boiling up inside of me. I look at her " I am so sorry! They will pay for this." I turn around and quickly walked out. My wolf repeating 'They will pay for this.'
