Chapter 33

(Raven pov)

We get outside and Nick looks at me "I'll race you." My wolf loves a challenge. "Okay" We start to run but my legs are so sore. I try to push through it but Nick can tell somethings wrong. He stops "Raven are you okay."

I look at him "Yea I'm fine"

"Your lying"

I try to walk away but I stumble and almost falls "Dame it" I let out a growl

Nick walks over and picks me up. "What are you doing?"

"I'm carrying you"

"I said I'm fine."

"And I said your lying."

I was to worn out to really fight back. "Fine, Yes my legs are sore but I'm fine, really."

"Raven why didn't you just tell me?"

"I don't know. I guess I don't want you guys to think I'm weak."

"Trust me we don't think your weak. We know how strong you are. That's why I was going to approve your challenge against Keegan."

"Was?"

"Yea! You can't fight like this. So I will approve it for the next challenges. I think Caden and I need to give you a break too."

I gave him a pouting face. "Aww, but it's so much fun."

"Oh, trust me I know."

I just laugh and kiss him. I snuggle up in his arms. Then I looked around and realized that we weren't anywhere near the pack house. "Where are we going?"

"There is this clearing that we do our challenges in. There will be a couple of fights today. I thought you might want to watch. It's also a good time to meet some of the pack members."

"Yea that would be awesome." The trees got thicker before walking into a huge clearing. Member's of our pack sat around with chairs, there is even bleachers. "This is kind of a big thing huh." I said feeling kind of nerves.

"Yea most of the challenges are good ones. Almost everybody gets excited about them."

As Nick walked up carrying me. Everyone nods in respect. "It's cool that they show you so much respect."

"It's not just me that their showing respect to."

I looked around and realized it was for me as well. The excitement filled me completely. "They really do like me, don't they?"

Nick laughs "Yes of course they like you. You are their Luna and Beta female. They would die for you."

"What? No! I don't want anyone to die for me."

"Relax Raven, and enjoy yourself."

Just then I hear a voice "Raven you came."

I turn and look as Nick puts me down. I smiled at my father. "Hi!" I hesitate not to sure if I should call him dad or not. He just smiles and as if reading my mind "You can call me Dad or Henry whatever your comfortable with."

"Okay, Hi Dad." I hugged my father for the first time. "Would you like to meet my wife."

"Yes! Of course." We walked over and I seen Keegan and Kristy. Kristy jumps up and comes over "I heard Nicks actually going to let you fight Keegan." My father had a look of surprise on his face. "No! I don't want you getting hurt. Keegan is very strong and."

Then Nick cuts in "Raven I think might just be stronger." He said looking at Keegan. "But they will fight at the next challenges. Which will be in two week."

Keegan got up and came over to me. He smiled and said "You really want to fight me? I won't go ease on you because your a girl."

"Yes, I would love to show you that girls can be just as strong and if you want to go ease on me, that just means I'll beat you that much faster."

Everyone starts cheering and laughing. Telling Keegan he is going to get his butt kicked by a girl. He just laughs "We'll see. I'm always up for a challenge little Raven." Then he ruffled up my hair.
"Keegan" I said with a warning tone

I see the smile on my father's face and I just smile. He takes my hand and leads me to a friendly looking lady, she's vear pretty. I smile at her, "Raven this is my wife, Caitlin."

She gave me a warm smile and hugged me. "You can call me Cat."

"It's nice to meet you Cat. Caitlin, that is a beautiful name. I like it"

"Thank you. I like your name too, Raven." Just then Chad and another guy came walking up. The another guy just keep looking at me. I could feel the tension between Nick and this guy. There is this vibe that comes from him. He kind of feels like he could be an alpha. Nick wrapped his arm around me pulling me to him. He looked at the guy. The guy looked at me. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend here?"

"Jason, this is my mate."

The guy looked at Nick. Then back at me "Raven isn't it." I looked at him "Yea" I answered nervously then he turn back to Nick "I meet her the day she moved in."

I stand there trying to remember. The only thing I could think of was he was one of the guys that help move my thing in. I felt so bad.

He looked back at me "You don't remember me do you?" You could tell he was upset. I didn't want to tell him no so I try to play it off. "I remember, you were one of the guys that help move my things in." He looked at me and smiles, "Yea, so you do remember me." Wow I can't believe I got that right. I thought to myself. But then his smile quickly faded away. "Your marked twice?" He looked at Nick with a puzzled look. "Let me guess. Your sharing her with him. That's disgusting." Nick let out a growl and moved me behind him "Jason, you might be my brother, but I am your Alpha, and you will show me respect. She is your Luna, and you are to show her respect as well. Do I make myself clear?"

Jason just stared at Nick then smiled and looked at me "crystal" I got this chill up my spine as he turned and walked away.
