Chapter 6 The Arrival

(Alpha Kent)
It was almost 03:00 am when I hear a knock at the door. I get up from my desk, and walk over to the door. When I opened it there stood Alpha Nicholas's Beta Caden. "Hello Caden! Thank you for coming. It's good to see you. But I thought Nick was coming." I shake his hand and then step to the side to let him in. "It's good to see you too. It would be better under different circumstance, but we're glad to help. Alpha Nicholas was not able to get away after all. So he asked me to come get her. Is that her?" He asks as he walks over to her.

"Yea! That's Raven. She is a very sweet girl." He bends down by her, looking right at her face. "She is very beautiful. Why would anyone want to reject her?" He shakes his head and stands up and walks over to the chair and sits.

"I don't know! But Nathan did. He wants to take it back but he let them all talk him into rejecting her. So he don't deserve her. I just want her to be happy. Leann and I think her best chance is with your pack."

Caden nods his head. "We will do what we can. By the way hows Leann doing?"

"She is amazing. She is fitting in well and I'm proud to have her as our Luna."

"I'm so glad she doing good. Let her know I said Hi."

"I will"

We talk for a while before Caden gets up "Well we better get going, we've got a long drive ahead of us." He walks over to Raven and lends down and picks her up. I go to the door and open it for him. I follow him out, and as he gets in the back sit of there SUV with Raven, his guards get in the front. I walked over to Caden and hand him a letter.

"Here give this to her when she wakes up. Take care of her, and if she needs anything don't hesitate to ask. And thank you guys for doing this."

"Of course, your welcome." Then he closes his door and they pulled away.

I close my eyes "Please find happiness Raven." then I turn around and go into the house to join my mate in bed. I've got a day full of punishment ahead, and I was going to enjoy every bit of it.

(Beta Caden pov)

I sit there holding this girl I don't even know. My wolf is angry and honestly a little nervous about her waking up. I'm angry about them hurting her, maybe a little to much for a girl I don't know.

As I sit there lost in my thoughts, she starts to move snapping me out of them. She slowly opens her eyes and my heart jumps at how pretty they are. I shake that thought out "Hello! I'm Caden!" I thought she might get scared and start frinking out. But she just looked at me and set up. She turns to the window and stared out of it, not saying a word.

My wolf feels confused telling me to talk to her then telling me not too.

I sit there kind of stund trying to come up with something to say. Then the letter crosses my mind I reach in to the pocket of the sit in front of me and pull out the letter. I turn to her "Here Raven, this is from Alpha Kent." She looks at me and I can't shake these butterfly in my stomach. Why I'm I so nervous around her. I push those thoughts away. I put the letter out for her to take it. She looks at it like its going to attack her. Then she slowly takes it. I stare at her for a moment more as she opens it and starts to read it, then I turn and look out the window, not wanting to get caught
