Chapter 44

(Caden pov)

Before I got to say anything, there was a knock on the door. Nick tells them to come in. And a hand full of our guards come in. Nick stands up and tells them. "We need to find Jason. He has been harassing the Luna." The guards let out a growl making me smile at how much they care about her. Nick was talking to them about what to do and where to look. Right after the guards left, I hear Raven asking where Nick was. I told her that he was with me then asked her why. I start to panic when she tells me she need us, then says "Jason's here with me." I growled out causing Nick to look at me and jump up "What's wrong?"

"It's Raven, she needs us. He's with her now." Nick let's out a loud growl. Then I get a link from Adam. "Hey You might want to get up here. Jason's here wanting to talk to Raven alone."

"NO" I growled out as we took off running up to Raven. Thinking to myself where the hell are the guards? They were to be at her door at all times.

As soon as we enter her room Nick grabbed Jason slamming him to the ground "How dear you come into my mates room. She is your Luna."

I see Adam standing there guarding her as I hear her cry out "Please just stop" Adam turned around wrapping his arms around her. I go to stand by her when Jason yelled out "SHE IS MY MATE" I turn around as he pushed back at Nick. I went to help Nick, but the guards came in grabbing Jason. They injected him with wolf bane. I looked at Raven and seen the sad look. I took a couple of steps towards her, but she takes off to the bathroom and locks the door. I ask Adam "What happen? Is she okay? Did he do anything to her?"

"He just talked." Then he looked at Nick and I "Is it true? I mean what Jason said That Raven is his second chance mate."

"So thats what he told her?" I was so angry that he would say that to her. "Hell no! If they were mates, then why didn't he say something before?"

"Because I sent him away. By the time he got back we already marked her and were completely mated." Nick said sadly

I looked at him with disbelief "You knew? How could you?"

"No! I didn't know until the challenges. There is nothing we can do about it now. A less we give her up. And I'm not willing to lose her or our baby."

I had no clue what to say. She should of been with him, but Nick's right I'm not willing to lose her or our baby either. Adam on the other hand was furious. "You should of dame well told her. He is her true mate. Not you guys. She has the right to know." It was clear that Nick was not happy with Adam's outburst but when he went at Adam. I stepped in front of him. I could feel the tears forming "Nick, He's right. She has the right to know."

Nick got in my face "I can't lose her."

"I'm not saying you will. I'm saying we have to tell her." I hastaned before continuing "Then we have to let her decided what she wants."

Adam knocks on the bathroom door, but when she don't answer, I went over to the desk and got the key for the bathroom. I open the door and see her passed out on the floor. I pick her up and lay her on the bed. As I'm covering her up I ask Adam if he would stay with her until we get back. He seemed confused but says yes. So I took Nick and we left. I told Nick we needed to talk to Jason.

When we got to the cells, they were empty. We looked around and seen our guards passed out. I instantly mind linked Adam. He said she was fine still sleeping. Nick sent out a link telling everyone. To keep an eye out for him. We even tried mind linking Jason. Nothing it was like he just disappeared. The guards said they were attacked from behind and that they never seen it coming.

We searched and searched for him for days then days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months.

We told Raven everything from Jason being her mate to us not knowing at first to Nick figuring it out during the challenges. She was so mad at him I was truly worried that she might reject him. He apologized for days. I never thought I would see a Alpha beg, but for her he did over and over again. She finally gave into him and forgave him.

We did announce the pregnancy as planned but we did postpone John's cousin coming out, because the pack was put on lock down for weeks. We never knew when we might see him again.

(Raven pov)

So six months have gone by scent we found out I'm pregnant and I am already getting so big so the doctor has us coming in today. Well as we walk to the doctor's office we laughed and talked about the baby's room. When we get there John and Anna already have everything set up to go. I'm so excited we get to see our baby for the first time. It's kind of funny Nick and Caden are in between nerves and excited.

Anna takes me to get ready. She has me lay back on this bed It don't take long before Anna goes out telling them we're ready. John, Nick and Caden walk in. There is some weird computer thing next to me with a monitor. I was looking at it weirdly. John smiles and says "This is an ultrasound machine. It's going to let us see your baby."

He uncovered my belly, then squeezed this clear blue gel on me. He pressed this thing to my belly and then I see a image I will never forget. Two, two heads? I looked at Nick and Caden. They looked just as confused as I did. Then John looked at us and smiled "Look you can tell this little one is an alpha, but this little one is a beta. Wow! Now that is amazing. Congratulations Luna."

"You've got to be kidding me. How? How am I having both." I looked at the screen I couldn't take my eyes off my babies. Oh my goddess I'm having babies. I felt a little light headed then John said "It's a boy. The Alpha's a boy." He said excitedly. He keep moving around "There she is. The Beta's a girl." That was it, that was all I could take before I started to cry. I was so happy but I couldn't stop crying. I covered my face but Nick pulled the cover down and I could see that he was crying to and so was Caden. I hugged them and kissed them both.

Before we left, John told us it wouldn't be much longer. they could come any time. I asked how that could be, because I'm not far enough along. But he told us that Luna's aren't pregnant as long. That aphla, beta, and third pups develop much faster then other pups. I couldn't help but feel relieved. I could give both of them something so special. I love them so much. I don't know what I would do without them. I feel so happy.
