Chapter 17 Old home

(Alpha Kent)

I was sitting at my desk with my mate by my side, it has been only a week sense I sent Raven to Nicholas pack I think about that night a lot. The ones that did that to her are miserable, which makes me happy. I have been so hard on them during the training that Leann stopped me. Telling me if I wanted to kill them I should have done that. We've had a few fights about what to do with them. I have backed off of them a little, only after the pack doctor told me I should. Then there's a knock bring me out of my thoughts.

"Come in"

Nathan comes in "Alpha, Luna, May I speak with you?"

I look at him irritated."Why Nathan?" Leann puts her hand on my shoulder. Calming me. "Let's just hear him out." She says given me a warm smile. I take a deep breath. "Okay Nathan. What is it?"

He looks kind of shock, but quickly continues. "I came to beg for forgiveness and to plead for a chance to get Ravens forgiveness. I don't know if she would ever forgive me, but I beg you. Please give me a chance to talk with her and ask her if she could ever forgive me." He starts crying, I shake my head and starts to say no when Leann gives me a sad look.

"Fine! Let us think it over and we will get back with you." He jumps up and with a pleading look "If she forgives me I will spend the rest of our lives making it up to her."

"Yes you will and I'll make sure of that! Now go and we will let you know our answer." Leann said given him a serious look. Without another word Nathan leaves my office. I look at Leann "What are you thinking? I don't want her to get hurt anymore."

"I know! But they are mates and they should at least get a chance to work it out."

"He had a chance and he hurt her!"

"Yea and then we sent her away. We never gave her a choice, to stay and work it out or leave. They should talk it out, you never know she might forgive him or she might rejected him this time."

The thought of her rejecting him kind of put a smile on my face.

"You know Nick won't be happy about it."

"You are still her Alpha. Just tell him you need to talk to her and take Nathan with you. Then give them sometime to talk. But I'm going with you, because if we give him this chance and he does hurt her again I'll kill him myself!" I kiss her lightly. "You know I love you so much. I would be lost without you!"

"I know" she says giggling "I love you too! Go ahead and call Alpha Nicholas I'll let Nathan know." I give her a pointed look "You know you don't have to call him that. It's just Nick or Nicholas. You are a Luna now!"

"I know old habit." I kiss her lips and she smiles as she walks out. Leaving me to make the call. I pick up the phone and dial the number.

"Hello"

"Hi! This is Kent. Is Nick there?"

"Alpha Kent? Yea! Let me go get him!"

"Okay!" I sit on hold for a little bit but I don't mind it gives me time to do my paper work.

"This is Nick! Is everything okay!"

"Hey Nick. Yea, everything's fine! I was just wanting to see about coming out there and seeing Raven. There are somethings I like to talk to her about." There was a silent on the phone and I could tell he was hesitant about it. I don't blame him.

"Okay! When are you wanting to come out?"

"How about tomorrow? Leann and I can stay one night then come home. If that works for you?"

"Why so sudden, are you sure everything's okay?"

"Yea! We just need to talk to her."

"Okay, I'll have a guest house set up for you."

"Thank you! I'll see you then, Nick."

"Okay bye!"

"Bye"

I hang up kind of feeling bad that I didn't tell him everything. He might not be to happy about bringing Nathan. But I am still her Alpha.

He better not hurt her again, or I'll kill him.

That night went by quick. The next thing I knew we were all loading up in 3 of our black SUV's. There going to be about a dozen of us. Just in case there is any trouble. I'm still not comfortable about not telling Nick I'm bringing Nathan. He's probably would have said no then. I don't know.

I hear a voice and I look out its Ravens mother Janet, I step back out.

"What do you want, Janet?"

She looks at me "Please let me see my daughter. I need to tell her sorry. Please!"

I don't know if I trust her or not, but this is the last chance for any of them to make up. Raven will be left in peace after this. I rolled my eyes at her "Get in there." and pointed to the last SUV. Then I got back in.

Nick is going to be so pissed off, and I don't blame him. I shake the thought out of my head and settle in for the long drive ahead.

(Alpha Nicholas pov)

I hang up the phone and sat there for a moment thinking about the phone call. Then the thought runs thou my mind 'What if Kent is coming to take her back. 'Hell no!' I growled loudly causing Chad to rushed in. "Is everything okay Alpha?"

I nod my head and wave him out. Then I mind link Caden. "We need to talk. We have a problem."

Caden could hear the panic in my voice "What's wrong?"

"Kent will be here tomorrow to see Raven. He says he needs to talk to her. But I don't know what his plans are. He is still her Alpha."

"No! She's mine! They will not take her from me."

I was a little bit taken back by his comment. He has always said our or we, but I would rather lose her to him then to them. "She will not be going back with them, Take her to her room I'll be there shortly"

"Okay! She's just coming out of the bathroom. Where going to head there now"

"Nick, sorry. I just can't lose her too."

"It's okay. I know how you feel."
