Chapter 36

(Alpha Nicholas pov)

After the confrontation with Jason, I have been on the edge. I see Raven and Caden walk back over so I walk over and talk to them for a minute before Raven ask "Why didn't you tell me you had a brother?"

I just look at her kind of shocked by the sudden question. But before I got a chance to say anything Caden cuts in "She meet Jason? When?"

"Earlier, he came over and said hi."

"Nick I know his your brother but I don't trust him. I don't want him around her."

"Trust me I don't want him around her either."

Then Raven jumped in saying "Excuse me! For one I will choose who I am around and for two answer my dame question. Why didn't you tell me you had a brother?"

I could not believe the way she spoke. I could feel the anger building and my wolf pushing forward. I looked at her "Do not speak to me like that. I am your Alpha. Show me some respect."

"And I am your Luna. Show me some respect." She just stares at me her eyes black. I stared right back. I didn't say anything afraid of what might come out. Then Caden tells her "Yes, Jason is Nick's brother but just half." I just turned around and walked away. I needed to cool off.

After the last match started they were match up good so the fight lasted quite a while. It was getting colder and colder by the minute so I went ahead and called the fight. Everyone started packing up so I walk over to Caden "Where's Raven?"

"She went to tell her dad bye."

A few of us guys were standing around talking as we waited for Raven. I see her talking to someone, but can't see who. I see her smile at them then I see who it is just as they walk away from each other. My hole body feels like it's on fire. I can't even look at her. I heard Chad say her name. She knows we don't want her around him but there she was talking to him. As mad as I am I choose to walk away. The next thing I see is Raven's wolf take off. I look at Caden. He says "Dame it Nick!" And then shifts into is black wolf and took off after her. Not liking his attitude "What the hell?"

"Nick, she's pissed at you and now at me too."

I link some of my warriors and asked them to watch over her, so I tell him, "Caden, come back to the pack house."

"What? I am not leaving her out here alone."

"She's not alone. I have wolfs watching her. She's fine. Just let her blow off some stem. Then we will all talk."

He still didn't seem to sure but finally said, "Fine"

Just as I walk into the pack house I get a link from some of the wolf saying someone out there. I tell them to bring her home. Then I got a panic link from Caden "Someone's crossed the border"

I send out a warning to the pack and I tell my wolfs to protect our Luna. I started pacing back and forth trusting my pack to protect my mate. I get a link from one of my warriors saying that she is safe and that Caden is with her too. I relax knowing that she is safe, but I'm still mad at how irresponsible she is to just take off like that just because she's "pissed off"

When I finally see them come walking up I am fuming, I am so mad, I just lose it. "What makes you think you can just take off like that? You are the Luna of this pack and it is time you started acting like it." But then Raven just went to walk by me into the house I grab her wolf and pushed her against the wall. I felt hands grab me and push me away from her. Then Caden stood between us, "NICK STOP I will not let you hurt her." He looked at Raven. "Go up to your room I'll be there in a minute." She looked at him then took off up stairs.

I just looked at him then walked away to my office. I can't believe I just did that. I can't believe it. I sit at my desk and run my hands through my hair. "She's got to hate us now" My wolf says just as Caden walks in. He sits in the chair across from me. "Do you want to lose her?"

I look up at him. "You know I don't."

"If you keep this up, you will. She loves you Nick, and your pushing her away."

"She can't be running off everytime she gets upset."

"Okay, well talk to her about that. Don't go yelling at her and pushing her around."

I look at him not liking his tone "And I don't like being disrespected either."

He took a deep breath "I know Nick and I'm sorry but she is my mate too. I just can't sit by and let her be disrespected either." When he stands up and walk to the door he asks me. "Are you coming up."

"Yea later"

Then he leaves. I mine link Chad "Bring me Jason now."

"Yes Alpha"

It didn't take long before there was a knock on my door. "Come in"

"Alpha, here's Jason"

"Thank you Chad."

As Jason walked in he said "If you wanted to see me dear brother all you had to do was call. You didn't have to send your goon to hunt me down."

"Stay away from Raven."

He let out a little laugh "Oh, you mean my little Luna. She is adorable. She's got the cutest smile, and softest skin."

I got up out of my chair and around my desk in unhuman speed. I grabbed him by his throat, my face to his. "This is the last time I will tell you, stay the fuck away from Raven, and if you touch her we will kill you. Now get the hell out of my house." I push him at the door. He stumbles before regaining his balance. He rubs his throat, "She is not even really yours and you know it. Someone really should tell Raven about that temper of yours." And then he walks out. I stand there trying to calm down, my wolf wanting me to go after him.

I look at the clock and it's already ten o'clock. I doubt Raven even wants to see me. I sit there contemplating what to do. Then my wolf tells me to just go see her. So I get up and walk up stairs telling my wolf that I hope she will forgive us.
