Chapter 40

(Raven pov)

The next morning I went to talk with the doctor. I had questions about the other couples like us. I worried that if I was pregnant with Nick's then it might upset Caden or the other way around. I wanted to talk to someone but we agreed not to say anything to anyone. So the only other person I can talk to is the doctor. I knocked nervously on his door. I heard a faint "Come in"

I walked in feeling kind of shy "Hello, Dr. John. It's me Raven. Do you have a minute that I could talk to you?" Just then a huge man came walking around the corner with only tight shorts on. My eyes and mouth dropped open. I quickly covered my face. I heard a laugh and a deep voice "Hello Luna. Sorry I didn't know you were here. It's okay! You can look now." I slowly open my eyes and seen he had put a shirt on. My face felt so hot.

"I am so sorry. I didn't know. I knock and heard someone say"

Then the doctor walked in "Jordan, here take this, come see me again if it still hurts my Monday."

"Thanks Doc. Bye Luna!" He bows his head

I was still so embarrassed I just waved. Then when he walked out I looked at the doctor, with wide eyes. He just laughed "Wow, he was huge all those muscles."

"Yea he works out alot. He might be bigger then Keegan but Keegan can still beat him in the challenges."

"Really, wow!" I was really starting to second quess the hole challenging thing. Keegan must be alot stronger than I thought.

"So Luna what brings you in? Are you feeling alright?" John said bring me out of my thoughts.

"Yea, I'm good. I just wanted to know about the other couples like us. Did they have kids too. If so can they tell which is the real father and does it really even matter?"

"Hey relax Luna"

"Raven please call me Raven."

"Raven. Everything will be okay. Just relax and breath. Let me make a phone call and maybe you can talk to my cousin and her mates."

"Really, you'll do that?" I said alittle to excited, but he just laughed and got up saying he'll be right back.

I stood there for a min before the door open. I turned around and seen Jason standing there. My heart started pounding as he walked closer to me.
"Hi Jason" I tried saying calmly. He looked at me and smiled. "Hi my little Luna." He took a deep breath before continuing. "I should leave, I was told I had to stay away from you." He said with a smirk

I gave him a confused look "Wait, what? Who told you that?"

"Your big bad Alpha, but I don't think his pet wants me around you either."

I growled at him "Don't talk about my mates like that."

I hear a low growl "Sorry my little Luna, I didn't mean to offend you. I will watch my tongue around you." He looks at my lips and I see his eyes swirling with black and a little blue. They were mesmerizing. I couldn't take my eyes off him. I watch as he licked his lips. I feel this pull. I start feeling nerves as he steps towards me. I take a step back away and fumble into the desk. He stops "Raven, I" he paused for a second looking in my eyes. "I think I should go. I'll just come back later."

He turns and walks back to the door, but then stops with his hand on the doorknob. He turns slightly with a smirk on his lips. "You know, superman got nothing on me, Bye my little Luna." Then he walked out. I finally let out the breath I didn't know I was holding. I stood there looking at the door trying togather my thoughts. Then Dr. John came back in. "Raven? Are you okay Luna?"

He came to me with a look of concern. "Luna, should I call for the alpha?"

"No. I'm fine. Sorry, Just lost in my thoughts. Did you talk with your cousin? Will she speak with me?" Trying to change the subject.

"Even better they will come to visit as long as their Alpha and ours approved the visit"

"I'll talk with Nick he'll be fine with it, but I'll let you know. Thank you!"

"Anytime, Luna" Then he bows his head. And I walk out.

I head to Nick's study when I feel hands grab my waist I jumped and tryed to move away. But they helded me in place. I started to panic. Till my wolf tells me it's our mate. Once I calm down I catch his scent. I turn and see Nick looking at me concerned. "Raven, Are you okay? What happen? Why are you so jumping?"

"I'm okay. I just wasn't expecting you." He wrapped his arms around me. "Are you sure your okay, sweetheart."

"Yea I'm fine." I kiss him "Oh yea I seen the doctor today. He called his cousin. If it's okay they will come out to see us. Please Nick I need to talk to someone that knows more about how we make this work."

"Are you not happy with us." I could hear the pain in his voice. I wrap my arms around him "Yes of course I am. I love you both so much. It's just, what if I'm pregnant with Caden's baby. Are you okay with that? Will he be okay if the baby's yours. With you being an Alpha and him a Beta, will we know who the really father is?"

"Raven, calm down, your over thinking things. Everything will be okay. We love you. I will be okay with it. I will raise our baby and love our baby, no matter who the father is. I will stand by you, forever. I love you to the moon and back." He kissed my forehead and pulled me into a hug. I wispered into his ear, "To the moon and back."

We walked to his study in silence, but my wolf was on edge. She's been acting weird but as soon as we get in and the door closes. She pushed him onto the couch and started to kiss him roughly. My wolf was pushing more then she usually does. I tried asking what was wrong but she didn't answer me. She just kept pushing. I tried stopping her. She ripped off Nicks shirt, then he grabbed me and pushed me onto the couch. I hear her growl 'mine'

Nick looked at me "What's wrong? Why is your wolf being so aggressive?" By then I had no control. She grabbed him pulling him back in kissing him again. He pulled back "Wait Raven." But she just kept kissing him and started pulling at his pants trying to get them out of the way. Until he used his alpha tone on her. "STOP!" He looked in my eyes "Raven?" My wolf pulled back bowing to him. I didn't like it at all but I understand why he did it. I asked my wolf what happened. She says 'I don't know. I could feel him around and I just needed our mate.'

'What? Who?'

Then she closed me out I couldn't hear her and I could hardly feel her either. I looked at Nick. He had a confused look on his face. "I'm so sorry."

"No don't be. I liked it. But why was she?"

"I don't know. She said she could feel him and needed our mate."

"Who?"

"I'm not sure." He pulled me into his chest letting me breath in his scent hoping to relax her. I kissed his bare chests. He had a rumble go through his chest. I kissed up to his mark. I could feel her moving around. He was moaning at everyone of my kisses. I tell her to take over. I feel her push forward. I looked Nick in the eyes they were swirling black as well.

"She wants to shift."

He just smiles "Then let's go"
