"What are we going to do about the poisoning thing?" I question as I lie on my stomach with Dominic rubbing the same stuff Michael is poisoning me with, minus the blood, onto my back. The mixture Dominic is using is a dark green color while the one Michael had been so dark I couldn't distinguish a color because it had blood in it. "Are you going to point it out?" I ask.
"No, let him continue making it, except don't drink it. Find a way to get rid of it when he isn't looking, like dumping it in a plant or down the sink or toilet." He says as he smooth another layer of the cold substance on my back. "I'll talk with Etheriel and Nathan and find out what he is planning."
"Do you think they know that he is poisoning me?" Dominic moves my hair again away from my back.
"No, Etheriel loves you so he wouldn't let Mihael poison you." Dominic replies then I feel him lightly kiss my shoulder. "Done, now we'll let it dry then you can get dressed, but you don't have to." I feel him smirk against my skin. "Also every night I will come see you to make sure you're okay." He kisses a little closer to my neck.
"Why only at night and why can't I just stay here with you?" I mumble.
"At night, when Mihael is sleeping, he can't since me opening a passage into you room and because here is bad for you, for long periods of time. Also we would get nothing done." He laughs and sucks lightly on my shoulder.
"Dominic..." I mumble.
"Hmm?" He trails kisses up my neck.
"I don't want to go home." I whisper and I feel him hesitate before he sighs.
"You need to." He returns back to lightly sucking spots on my neck and shoulder. "I need to take you back." Despite what he said, he doesn't make a move to take me back. I sit up, pushing away Dominic, and everywhere his lips touched, tingles. He stands up and pulls on sweatpants and a shirt. "What do you want to wear?" Dominic asks and tilts his head, scanning my body. I slide into my underwear as Dominic goes and retrieves a shirt for me to wear. Without caring about pants, I intertwine my fingers with his. When we come out of the passage, the moon is still high in the sky. I could have been with him longer. Dominic glances at the empty glass and back at me.
"Remember, don't drink the drink. Actually be really cautious with anything he tries to feed you." Dominic slows down at the end as his eyes land on something on the floor. "Is that my shirt?" I glance over to his shirt on the floor.
"Yeah, it helped get rid of the hallucinations for a little bit." I mumble.
"Well from now on, I will be here every night." He smiles a bit and strokes my hair. I smile back slightly. "Well, I should go and talk to Etheriel about Mihael." He kisses my forehead and I nod as he walks through a passage, leaving me alone in the darkness of my room. I bring Dominic's shirt up to my nose and take a sniff, smiling instantly. I then take a lock of my hair and bring it to my nose; it also smells faintly like Dominic. I crawl under the covers only in Dominic's shirt. I expect hallucinations of Eli to start any moment, but they never come.
The sun comes up before I notice and the lock on my door clicks unlock and Michael checks in on me. He comes in and takes the glass from the side table, taking it down to the kitchen to no doubtfully get more. I get up and pull on a pair of black skinny jeans before going down stairs. Michael is washing the glass and I slowly walk into the kitchen without making a sound. I go to the fridge and weakly pull it open. I must have surprised him because out the corner of my eye he jumps slightly, turning toward me.
"Feeling better?" he asks. I think about how I feel physically, weak and achy. I shake my head and look at him for his response. He nods and continues to wash dishes. That stuff must be the reason I am weak, when will it wear off? I pull orange juice out of the fridge and take it to the counter. Before pouring a small cup, I take a small whiff to make sure it smells like oranges. It smells normal so I casually drink it and return the container back where I got it. Michael just finishes the dishes when I set my empty glass in the sink. He looks at it before drying his hands and going to the fridge. He pulls out a solid colored and a glass. I watch as he pours out the sludge that he is poisoning me with and I get nervous. He puts the jug back in the fridge and hands me the glass.
