Etheriel and I stay like this for a while, him holding me to his chest and his wings tightly wrapped around us. Etheriel's phone starts ringing and his wings slowly spread out and he leans over, grabbing his phone and looking to see who is calling. He sighs and answers it.
"Yes?" He listens to what the person on the other end says. "Floor Five... Come to room 521 and I'll give you the key for 520." Etheriel says and looks at me before hanging up.
"Do you have your room key?" he asks and his wings slowly start gravitating to me again.
"Yeah." I reach into my pocket and tug the keycard out. Etheriel looks at the keycard and then at my damp clothes still clinging to my body.
"You should change so you don't get a cold." Etheriel says and sits up, bringing me with him. I slide off the bed and walk towards the door with Etheriel closely following. He opens the door before I can and holds it open for me. I see that his wings are gone now. He shuts the door behind us and we walk the short distance to my room where I slide the card into the electronic reader and push open the door. I grab the clothes that I had out when Dominic was still here and walk into the huge luxurious bathroom. I peel my clothes off and slide into my dry new ones. I leave the bathroom and Etheriel smiles at me from his position leaning against the wall. He grabs my suitcase and we leave the room. As he is unlocking the door to his room, the elevator down the hall dings.
"Etheriel!" Nathan's voice comes from the elevator. I turn and see Nathan strolling towards us with a duffle bag slung around his shoulder. I take the keycard back out as he stops in front of us.
"You already packed up your apartment?" Etheriel questions and I hand Nathan the card.
"I put all those books into a box and brought them with me, but other than that I told the neighbor to take whatever they wanted then sell the rest." Nathan says and pockets the key. His eyes flicker between Etheriel and I then the door. "Dominic, Trinity, and you are sharing a room?" Nathan questions and I can tell what he is thinking by the smirk on his face. I feel my cheeks heat up and Etheriel coughs slightly.
"He left." Etheriel says and Nathan instantly gets a confused expression.
"He left? Without Trinity?" Nathan asks and in response I feel Etheriel take a step closer to me and his arm wrap around me. A small smile tugs at Nathan's lips.
"Well, it's pretty late we should get some sleep." Etheriel says and he turns to open our hotel room. Nathan stares down at me and I feel like I should thank him.
"Thank you, Nathan. For helping me realize the truth..." He stilts his head tightly.
"I'm glad you finally woke up." He raises his hand and tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear. I smile and turn entering the hotel room. As I walk in and Etheriel carries in my bag, I glance at the alarm clock and see that it's midnight. Etheriel places a kiss on the top of my head as he grabs a pair of sweatpants out of his luggage before going into the bathroom and shutting the door. As he is in there, I change into shorts and a tank top. Right as I slip the tank top on, Etheriel comes out of the bathroom. He is wearing sweatpants low on his waist and no shirt. His eyes do a brief scan of what I am wearing before he smiles and lays down on the bed, wanting me to join him. He pulls me onto him so I am sitting with my legs on both sides of his waist. His hands find their way to my hips and I lean down, lightly pressing my lips against his. My hands slide up his bare chest.
"I love you..." He breathes in between a kiss and his hands move up to my sides before his arms wrap around me and tighten around my body, pushing me against his torso.
