"Trinity..." Etheriel's voice comes from the end of the aisle. Dominic quickly pulls away and looks toward him. I look at him and a strange feeling stabs into my heart when I see how crushed he looks. The feeling quickly dissolves as he clears his throat and hides how crushed he looks. I can feel the heat radiating off Dominic standing next to me and I desperately want him touching me.
"Uh... Mihael is looking for you and he is on his way this way so Dominic... you should go." Etheriel glances back and forth between Dominic and I several times before glancing out of the aisle and leaving. I turn back toward Dominic to see him examining my face.
"I guess I should go, see you tonight." He mumbles and lightly kisses my forehead before briskly walking the opposite way Etheriel went. Just as he turns the corner, Michael turns the corner on the opposite way of him, the way Etheriel went.
"There you are, I was wondering where you might have went." He looks at the floor of the aisle and furrows his eyebrows, confused. "What happened here?" I turn and look at the bottles of soaps lying on the ground.
I shrug. "It was like this when I got here." I lie and turn, grabbing a tropical smelling shampoo and conditioner. I walk down the aisle a little and grab pineapple smelling body wash.
"I got what I need, you ready?" he asks and watches as I put the bottles into the cart. I nod and he smiles, turning the cart around and heading toward the check out. As we wait in line at one of the cash registers, I go and glance at magazines, wondering what I might have missed while I was gone. I am about six to seven feet from Michael when I feel like someone is staring at the back of my head so I turn quickly and glance around the store. I don't see anyone in particular who are staring at me and a since of dread overcomes me. Everything dulls and a high pitched ringing starts up loudly. I look around and no one seems to notice, not even Michael, who is now chatting with the person behind the cash register. The ringing becomes even louder and I get light headed, making me lean against the rack of magazines. My floor comes up to meet me fast and I try to catch myself, but my body stops working.
Dominic
Etheriel and I leave the store immediately and return back to Trinity's house in uncomfortable silence. I can tell he wants to say something as he drives back, but he remains silent with a blank expression. When we get to her house, Etheriel parks down the street some so Mihael won't notice us and I get out quickly, not wanting to be in that car with him anymore. Shortly later, Mihael's car pulls into their driveway. I watch as Mihael jumps out and quickly comes around the car instead of going to the trunk to get groceries, alerting me as he opens the passenger side door. He reaches in and pulls out Trinity, unconscious. I stand up straight even more alert. I watch as he carries her up to the porch and I notice something strange. Dried blood coming from her ears. I slam my hand down on the hood of Etheriel's car, gaining his attention and causing him to get out of the driver's seat.
"What?" he sounds annoyed.
"Trinity was unconscious with dried blood coming from her ears. Mihael carried her in."
Trinity
My head throbs and I am dazed when I barely open my eyes. When I try to open my eyes more, the lighting where I am is too bright and I have to squint even though in reality sun is going down and the light is dim. How did I get back home to my room? I was... at the store. What happened? I try to sit up, but can't even get an inch before falling back down. My breathing picks up as I remember hearing a loud ringing before everything went dark. My mouth is completely dry and I look around for anything to drink within my reach. Did Michael do something to me that caused this? More poison? No, I didn't eat or drink anything since I found out. It shouldn't have worsened, right? I look straight up and notice tiny black dots in my vision. I blink a lot, but they remain, moving around a little. The door to my room opens and shuts and I look to see Michael carrying a bottle of medicine and a glass of water. He sees me awake and looks relieved instantly.
