Etheriel

"What do you mean she 'disappeared?" I question staring at Nathan coming toward the car. He places his hands on the trunk and looks down.

"I don't know..." he whispers, "I searched and she wasn't anywhere."

"Maybe she swam to safety." I saw with hope.

Nathan immediately shoots me down. "Not with that wound... Even if she could swim to the surface... The waves would have... crushed... her." he whispers more quiet then turns toward me. "Where's Mihael? Did you get him?" he questions and I shake my head.

"No, the ritual worked and right after his wings restored he returned to Heaven." I reply and look around at the tree line, hoping that Trinity will emerge. Nathan runs a hand through his hair before slamming his fist down on the car.

"Dammit!"

Trinity

My body is tingling when I stir from some deep sleep. My back is on fire in pain like there are new lashes on my back. I look around the room I am in and recognize it as my old room at my foster parent's home except the walls are bare. I was just laying on top of the blanket. How did I get here? The whole room is still. I remember what happened and I look down to look at where I was stabbed. I am still wearing the white dress I woke up in on the concrete slab except now it has a huge stain of blood from where I was stabbed. The place where I was stabbed is completely gone there isn't even a scar. I am extremely confused. I get off the bed carefully and almost collapse. It's like I haven't walked in a long time. I look toward the window and see the sun shining in. I remember falling off the cliff... How did I get here? I quickly go to my door and fling it open. My foster mother happened to be passing and she jumps, turning to me with wide eyes.

"Trinity?! When did you come over? Last night? I didn't hear you come in." She places a hand over her chest.

"Yeah, Uh, sorry." I lie and quickly walk past her and toward the stairs. I check the clock on the oven. 4:44. I've been out since last night? I walk toward the front door and swing it open. I need to find Dominic, Etheriel, and Nathan. I need to tell them I am okay. Since I don't have a car here, I start walking toward Nathan's apartment not even thinking about how it looks for me to be walking barefooted down the sidewalk, in a white dress covered in blood. I get to his apartment complex sometime after 5:15 surely. I quickly make my way up the stairs and to his door. I knock briskly on the door and wait for a response. No one answers so I knock louder in case they didn't hear me.

"Trinity?" I hear someone whisper and I turn toward the voice on the stairs to see Etheriel, standing on the top stair, eyes wide and pale, holding a grocery bag. He takes a step toward me like he doesn't believe I am here.

"Etheriel?" I question confused and he drops the bag slowly coming toward me. He reaches out and touches my cheek before pulling away and bringing me into a tight hug.

Etheriel

I slowly ascend the stairs with a bag of food for Nathan. He sent me to get food for him. Once I am at the top of the stairs, I look up and my heart stops.

"Trinity?" I whisper with disbelief. She is standing in front of Nathan's door as she turns and looks at me. She is wearing exactly what she was when she fell of that cliff... Three weeks ago. We searched and searched that first week and couldn't find anything.

"Etheriel?" She sounds confused. I drop the bag I am holding and carefully walk toward her, in case it's my mind playing tricks on me. I reach out and touch her cheek. Real. I quickly pull her into my arms and squeeze her tightly. Trinity. Real. Alive.
