Hallucinations

I keep hallucinating. Eli is everywhere I look and his voice is haunting my thoughts. The flashbacks are more frequent too. It is worse than it was with Aaliyah. It's so life like too. I feel pressure on the bed whenever he gets on it, I hear the footsteps circle me when he walks around me...

I'm going insane.

Michael checks in on me, but before leaving he looks back again with his eyes narrowed at me.

"Are you feeling okay? You're pale and have circles under your eyes. When is the last time you slept?" he comes in and casually walks past Eli, leaning against the wall. I shrug in response and look away from him.

"No, don't just shrug, tell me."

"A few days." I mumble quietly.

"What?!" His hand is suddenly on my forehead. "Hmm... No fever." He comments to himself.

"Of course there is no fever. It's all in your mind." Eli laughs. I close my eyes and try to will him away, but when I open my eyes he is still there. At first the scent from Dominic's shirt was enough for him to go away, but his scent wore off two days ago.

"I'll go get you some medicine to help you sleep." Michael gets up and leaves.

"Too bad you already took everything." Eli watches Michael leave. Michael sticks his head back in looking a little pale.

"You already took everything?" he holds up an empty package of sleep medication. I slowly nod as Eli snickers. "Everything including these? In three days?" He comes in staring. I nod again and he rushes to my side. "When's the last time you took something and what was it?" I point to the empty box I opened seven hours ago, in the middle of the night.

"Seven hours ago." I whisper.

"This was unopened, wasn't it?" I nod and Michael's eyes widen as he grabs my wrist and begins to take my pulse. "Fast, a little too fast." He mumbles and then looks in my eyes for something. Eli leans over his shoulder, smiling.

"If you were going to die from an overdose, it would have happened by now. Doesn't he know that?" Eli scans Michael's face.

"You feel okay?" Michael leans away slightly.

"Yeah." I lie and force a small smile. He looks like he has a hard time believing me, but gets up accepting my lie.

"I'll go get you medicine." Michael leaves. 'Medicine' aka that gross concoction of a 'special remedy'.

"Like that shit is helping you. Why don't you go and roll around in bed with Dominic? I'm sure that will help you more than what he is doing." Eli walks across the room and starts going through my dresser. Michael comes in with the drink and hands it to me.

"This isn't helping." I believe my hallucination of Eli on what he said.

"Yes, it is. Helping your back heal." I take a sip of my drink. He's lying, my back hasn't healed a bit since the first night I got back. I wonder if Dominic got that recipe that is actually supposed to help my back yet.

The sun begins to go down and Michael checks in on me and checks to make sure I finished the gross drink before shutting my door. I hear the lock click and a little later his bedroom door shut. He started locking me in after I snuck out to see Dominic. Eli checks the doorknob and laughs.

"He really doesn't trust you anymore. Pity." He walks to the window and looks out it. I curl up and hold a pillow over my head to block out Eli. Suddenly, Eli goes quiet and someone taps on my window. I slowly remove the pillow and sit up. Dominic stares at me through the window. He scans my face slowly as I weakly push open the window and push out the screen. He doesn't come in and I get confused.
