~Mello's POV~

I woke up at an early time in the morning to see {Y/N} still fast asleep beside me. I sighed and slowly got off the bed, being careful not to make any noise.

{Y/N} stirred slightly but didn't wake up, causing me to sigh in relief and smile at her adorable sleeping face. Her {H/C} hair was frizzy and all over the place and she was snoring pretty loud, but it was so cute to me. I picked up my phone, which was charging, and took a picture before setting it down and walking into the bathroom. Even in there I could hear her snoring...

Jesus, woman. How does such a loud noise come out of something that small?!

I chuckled and stripped of all my clothing before getting into the shower and turning on the water. "Today's gonna be a long day." I muttered as the water came out of the shower head.

~{Y/N}'s POV~

I woke up kinda late, and noticed that Mello wasn't sleeping beside me. However, I heard faint noises coming from downstairs. I sat up and felt pain shoot through my hips.

Mello.... You asshole, you're too fucking rough.

Fighting through the pain, I got up off the bed and groaned. "Shouldn't have provoked him last night..."

The door to the bedroom creaked open to reveal a smirking Matt. "You alright there??"

"My hips hurt." I whined, and he walked in and sat down beside me.

"What, was Mel too hard on you last night?" He asked with mocking innocence, and I hit him with a pillow.

"You're such an asshole, you know that?"

"You love me. But it seems that you love Mello, too."

Catching the emphasis on the 'love', I glared at Matt. "When the hell did you get so dirty minded?"

"When you started making dirty jokes." He replied.

I rolled my eyes and got up, checking for any hickeys in the mirrors. "Today's the big day, huh?"

"Yeah..." He said, "Well, don't get all soft on me, alright?"

"Easier said than done. I don't want you to get hurt. And knowing how much danger is involved with the kidnapping and using you to confuse the cops... I'm scared for you."

"I'll be fine. Besides, I'm more scared for Mello than myself. But you don't have to worry. He's gonna do this."

"Matt..." I said, going up to him and taking his hand. "Please be careful later. I love you. You're practically my brother. And hell, if something happened to you, I'd go insane. So please, please please, be careful."

He looked at me with weary eyes and I could tell that he wanted to cry. He wanted to stay. But where Mello went, Matt followed. It had been that way since we were kids. "I'll be okay, {Y/N}. I told you, if I have to die for you guys, so be it."

"I don't want you to die for us. Mail, I've said before that I can't live without Mel, but you should know that I can't live without you, either!"

"You're gonna have to if I fuck up the mission. Listen. You know I love you. I've always loved you. Hell, before I met Mina, you were my everything. I used to argue with Mello all the time 'cause I wanted to be with you. I wanted to be the one to make you happy, to make you feel loved, to marry you, all of that. And I don't think I'll ever stop feeling that way. But Mina... Mina's someone that I feel that way about, too. And when I see you and Mel together, I know how... Right you guys are."
