The Wammy's Boys Reunited

~L's POV~

Running to the emergency room, I pulled Near's arm while we ran down the hall, not wanting to let go. When I saw Mihael, I sighed in relief, knowing that he'd have taken good care of her. "M-Mihael!" I called out, and he turned towards us, his eyes red from crying.

"L... Near..." He managed before bursting out into tears.

Wait... Did he just...?

"M-Mello?" Near asked, shock spread all over his face.

"Yeah, it's me." He replied, and without thinking, I pulled him in for a hug. It'd been years since I had hugged Mello, and finally, after so long, I got to do it.

"Sorry to ruin the moment," Near began, "But where's my sister?"

"She's in the emergency room. They needed to give her blood and put on casts and shit, so..."

"...where's Matt?" I asked, and Mello sighed, running a hand through his blonde hair.

"Ha. He disappeared after calling you. He's somewhere in the hospital, but I can't find him."

"Can't find him, huh?"

He's probably in shock. Considering that he doesn't know...

"Besides, I'm still pissed at him. No one stalks my girlfriend and gets away with it."

"What?" Near yelled, and I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"He was stalking her. Following her. I went into his laptop, he has pictures of her. And she didn't even know that he had pictures of him. He's obsessed."

"How'd you find out?"

"When he left the house, I just went on his laptop. He has an entire folder dedicated to that. And he told {Y/N} about that day at a the cafe, when you left, how she was crying and she accidentally left you behind."

"So that asshole really was following her..."

"Near, calm down," I warned.

"No, L, he was stalking my sister!" Near exclaimed, almost at the point of screaming. He pushed my hand away and began to storm off.

I started to run after him, but stopped when I heard Mello's voice. "Hey, L, when you find him, don't do anything. Call me before you do anything. I have to tell him something."

I didn't reply, but I sighed and looked back. "Watch {Y/N} while I find him."

I didn't stay to see it, but I knew that he nodded behind me, taking responsibility for the love of his life.

~Matt's POV~

I wonder how she's doing...

I sighed and continued walking around the hospital, purposely trying to avoid Mihael.

I'm so fucking dumb... Why the fuck would I let myself go insane like that...? I can't believe that she was my best friend in our past life... And that I did something so low and was that much of a pervert this time around!

She protected me until the very last moment...

"MAIL JEEVAS!" a voice yelled, preventing me from completing my thoughts.

I snapped towards the sound to see a very angry Near walking towards me. In the few seconds I had, I mentally prepared myself to take a beating from him.

"You... Motherfucker..." He swore, pulling back an open hand to slap me with, only to be stopped by L.

"Oi, Nate, control yourself a little, yeah?"

"How about no, since this bastard stalked my sister?!"

I sighed and stood up, scratching the back of my neck nervously, like an anime character. "Uh, about that. I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me with that, but I'm gonna delete everything. And I'm also sorry for not remembering the Kira case and Wammy's House."

Near and L's eyes widened. "Y-you remember, too?!"

Too?!

"Yeah... Wait, 'too' means that-!"

"Yes, idiot, I remember," a voice said, and I immediately recognized it as Mello's. He walked up to me and stood by my side.

"So we all remember it then? Wammy's House?" L asked.

"Yeah, pretty much." I confirmed, linking my arm with his.

"So the Wammy's Boys are all reunited, huh?" Mello joked, and I smirked.

"Just like the old days." I laughed, and everyone smiled.

"So we're all cool? No one hates anyone?" Near said.

"Yeah. We've known each other forever. So we're good."

"Uh, how's {Y/N} doing?" L asked, and Mello shrugged.

"Considering the position she's in, she's strong. Her left limbs are totally shattered, but she's gonna be alright. Also, her blood levels went down so they gave her a blood infusion, or transplant, or whatever the fuck they call it."

"S-she's gonna be okay, right?" Near questioned, and I smiled.

"She's been through much worse. She can make it through this, too." L said, ruffling the small kid's hair. Relief was immediately shown on his face, and I smiled.

"I can't believe that this is happening... The Wammy's Boys are back!" I cheered, and Mello smirked.

"Back, and better than ever." He said.

~{Y/N}'s POV~

I opened my eyes weakly, to hear the gentle beeping of a heart monitor, and footsteps going up and down the hallway just outside my room.

I'm in a hospital, I guess...

I groaned as I tried to move my arms to push myself up, only to feel a sharp pain shoot through my left side. Everything was broken.

Great. Left limbs are gone.

"Hi, sweetie, how are you feeling?" A nurse asked, and I shrugged.

"Could be better, I guess." I mumbled weakly, and she laughed.

"You should've seen your boyfriend. Wouldn't rest until he knew you were safe. Mihael, was it?"

"That's him." I said, "The one and only boyfriend of {Y/N} {L/N}."

"Well, he went after two other boys, but I'm sure he'll come back soon. Are you feeling alright? Does anything hurt too much?"

I chuckled and looked down at my cast. "It's okay," I said, tears filling my eyes, "I'm used to the pain."

This time it's my left arm and leg. Before it was my right arm.

"Used to it? Meaning..."

"Nah, it's nothing. Just remembering something from an old story. An old, old story. That, maybe, I'm too attached to."

The nurse laughed and placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. "Trust me, honey. There's gonna be more of that kind of stuff throughout your life. It's a tough ride."

I smirked as Mello walked in, a smile spreading across his face as he realized I was awake. "Don't worry, love." I replied, "I'm very well-prepared."

Because this is only the first drop of many more on this roller coaster.
