MILLIES CHAPTER TIME!

And incase any of you didn't know who that was, It's me. My name is Amanda-Rose Butters, but I've been nicknamed Millie since I was two hours old. Call me that, if you must, but enjoy Jamie's chapter.

From time-to-time I'll post a cover or two that I have made, including the main one of this book. Message me if you ever want a cover. I'd be happy to help :)

The video, I suggest you listen to, I found it on Tumblr somewhere. OMG, you have to listen to it. I love it!

“I’m getting bored now.” I complained as we walked into yet another music shop. “How many drum sticks do you have to look at and walk by before you get bored?”

“Lots,” my sister replied with a grin. “Now come on, the quicker we go and get my sticks, the quicker we can get you an outfit for the party later.”

“But I’m getting tired!” I complained. “And bored…”

“I’ll hurry.” Noah replied. “Not because you’re bored, but because you’re tired.”

I grinned in triumph. “Thanks, Noah.”

“Whatever ,” my sister replied, picking up a sleek, black pair of drums sticks.

“They look nice.”

“You think?”

“Yeah. I think they’d suit you.”

“Really?” My sister’s face lit up.

“Totally.”

“Okay!” she responded, holding the sticks tight. “I’ll get them.”

Although my sister, Noah Mar’s liked to play the drums, she was still fashionable and a goddess. I adored her as my favourite sibling and knew that after I leave college she could take my position at any time. We looked so different, yet were closer than anyone – except for Logan. Logan was the closest person I had, Noah following closely. I was just thankful that my sister was there for when Logan wasn’t. Like now; for example.

I know that I’d go crazy in these next few weeks.

I sighed loudly and my sister gave me a curious look; I shrugged her off.

“Here,” my sister said, handing the sticks and some money over to me, “can you do me a favour and pay for these, please?”

“Why?” I asked, but then I saw Luke – Noah’s boyfriend – walk through the front door of the shop and I rolled my eyes without the need for a reply. “Never mind…”

I walked upto the counter and a cute guy, about the age of twenty and smiled at him, indicating I wanted to be served.

He took his headphones off and smiled politely to me as I placed the sticks down on the counter. His left arm had a sleeve of tattoos and he had black spikey hair, he also had dimples. “Can I help you, miss?” He asked.

“Just these please,” I indicated the drum sticks Noah had picked out.

“Ah, do you play drums or are you getting them as a present?”

I glanced towards my sister and stuffed her money in my pocket before reaching to get my purse from my handbag. “They’re a gift.”

“I see.” He replied. “Then can I suggest an offer?”

“It depends.”

“I’m in university and I’m doing an arts degree. My father owns the store so we’ve been engraving names onto sticks for people who want to give things as presents.”
