Immy's part. Vote for her. She needs cheering up. :D

Tension was high, that was for sure. I knew that tonight, if we lost, then I’d be screwed. The team would probably vote me off. It was the final, the end game, the only thing we’d really come here for. The training we could have got anywhere, but this was important. If we won this, we’d have a proper shot at nationals. I sighed to myself; truth be told, I just wanted to destroy the Aces.
“Good luck tonight, Knights,” Tom said, winking at me as he walked past. “You’ll need it.”
“You won’t be saying that when we win, Aces,” I snapped crossly.
I hadn’t seen anyone from the cheerleading team all day, especially Jenna. I sighed; all the stuff with my parents had probably freaked her out a bit. Everyone seemed really fidgety and excited – but that was probably because of the game. I was nervous.
My phone buzzed, and I realised Seth was calling me.
“Hey, Seth,” I said, answering the phone.
“Wrong,” Coby said. “Is my number set to ‘Seth’ in your caller ID?”
“No,” I lied.
“Liar.”
“Okay, fine,” I laughed. “Yes, it is.”
Coby sighed. “How’re you holding up?”
“Pretty well, actually,” I smiled, suddenly jolts of anticipation striking me. “Very well. Excited.”
“We’re all going to be there,” Coby told me. “Me, Susie and Seth. Your mum and dad were consid—”
“Oh, they’d better not,” I grumbled, my good mood instantly dying.
“They are not that bad,” Coby sighed.
“You left before I did,” I reminded him. “You have no say in this.”
“I left because it was time,” Coby sounded like he was smiling. “You left because you couldn’t handle it.”
I sighed. “True. I couldn’t.”
“Sorry,” Coby said, realising his mistake. “I didn’t mean it like that.”
“No one ever does,” I said, slightly agitated because it was my sore spot. “No one understands it either, Coby. No one understands what it’s like to have parents who truly resent you because you’re gay.”
“Logan,” Coby sighed. “I’m sorry, you know I didn’t mean it.”
“No, you did,” I told him crossly. “You meant it because everyone does. Everyone says to me ‘it was just two years, you could have held on for the money for college’. No, Coby. I couldn’t. Every time they looked at me, I saw hatred in their eyes. I saw anger. I could deal with that, but disappointment? Because I’m gay? No, I couldn’t deal with that.”
“Logan,” Coby said, trying to stop me.
“I’m going to go,” I said, slamming shut my phone and ignoring the immediate call-back from ‘Seth’. I put my phone in my bag and grabbed my sweatbands, intending to go for a run. I jogged lightly outside, near to the changing rooms and the lockers, and suddenly I spotted two of Tom’s cheerleaders near the lockers. They indicated that I should come over, so I changed course and ran over to them.
“Hey, guys,” I said pleasantly. “Something wrong?”
“Yes,” one of them said, closing the door behind me. “We need to talk to you about Jenna, the weird-eyed girl on your team.”
