New Mobian Friends

Y/N's Pov.

I didn't know whether to be excited or scared. Excited because I was traveling at the speed of sound, or scared of what would happen if I crashed into something. But being with Sonic made me feel safe for some reason. Maybe because he was a hero in Sonic X, so he's a hero here too. After less than a minute, Sonic slowed down to a stop.
"Here we are!" He had stopped in front of a house, but when I looked around the area, it looked as if we were in the middle of nowhere.
"Um Y/N?" Sonic asked.
"Yes?"
"You can let of me now." I didn't notice at first, but holding on to Sonic like he was a teddy bear. I let go, trying to hide the blush on my face.
"Sorry." I said as he put me down.
"No biggy. Come on!" he replied and started walking towards the house, and I followed close behind. Sonic knocked on the door and I heard a really loud girly shriek coming from inside. The door practically flipped open and on the other side was Amy, Sonic's #1 fangirl.
"Sonic!" She tackled Sonic into a hug.
"Amy, let go! I can't breathe!" Sonic gasped out.
"Oops, sorry Sonic." Amy let him ago and Sonic took in a big breath. Amy, then, noticed me.
"Who's she, Sonic?"
"Oh, this is Y/N. She's the one who found the blue chaos emerald."
"Well hi there! My name's Amy Rose!" She stuck out her hand.
"Nice to meet you, Amy." I shook her hand.
"Hey Sonic!" I heard a voice behind Amy, and saw a familiar looking 2-tailed fox, "Welcome back."
"Hi Tails. This is my new friend, Y/N, you know. The one who found the emerald."
"Hi there, my name's Miles Prower, but you can call my Tails."
"Hello to you too." I responded.
"Come inside and we'll have some tea." Amy suggested.
"Alright."
The inside of their house looked just like any ordinary house.
"What's a human doing here?" a gruff voice asked, making me turn around. Sitting on the couch was non-other than Knuckles the Echidna, guardian of the Master Emerald.
"Oh, you mean Y/N?" Sonic's voice came from behind me, "She's the one who found one of the chaos emeralds."
"Hmph."
"That's Knuckles. He has a 'slight' temper problem." Sonic whispered.
"I'll make sure to keep that in mind." I whispered back, giggling.
"I heard that." Knuckles warned.
Sonic, then, burst out laughing and was later joined my the Amy, Tails, and I, while Knuckles was trying not to get angry at us.
