Meeting the Blue Blur

Y/N's Pov.

I was beyond shocked to say the least, but even so, I couldn't make a single sound. I didn't know whether to be frozen in confusion or fear.
"Hello?" I was snapped out of my shock to see the hedgehog's hand waving in front of my face.
"You okay?" it asked.
"Um... I..." I tried to speak, but nothing clear came out.
"Do you mind if I come in? It's pretty chilly outside tonight."
"Well... sure." I said as I stepped back and he jumped in.
I wasn't sure whether my decision was good or not, but the hedgehog didn't seem so bad.
"Why are you looking at me like that? You never seen a blue hedgehog before?" I blushed from embarrassment. Was I staring at him for too long?!
"I-... No, I haven't. At least, not in real life."
"Ok then. Well my name's Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog!" My eyes went wide How could this be the famous hedgehog?! I thought that he was only on TV and in games.
"And you are?" he asked.
"Oh! My name's Y/N."
"Nice to meet ya, Y/N. Did you by any chance see a gem about this big that glows?" he questioned, using his hands to show how large the gem was.
"Do you mean a chaos emerald?" It slipped out of my mouth before I could stop it.
"You know what a chaos emerald is?" Sonic asked, surprised.
"Sort of. Do you mean this?" I pulled out the emerald from under my pillow.
"That's it!" He snatched it from my hand and held it in the air. "How did you get this?!"
"Um... It sort of dropped out of the sky and hit me on the head, so I decided to keep it for a while."
"I'm just glad that you had it instead of 'someone else.'"
"Who do you mean?"
"It's nothing, never mind. I gotta go back to my friends." he said as he was about the jump out the window again, which made me feel sort of sad. Sonic, apparently, noticed this.
"Don't worry. I'll come back tomorrow." And with that said, he took off into the night.
I had no idea what just happened, but I suddenly became very tired. I went back to bed and laid down, slowly drifting into sleep-mode. What happened felt like some crazy dream, but part of me wanted it to be real.
"Please don't be a dream..." I whispered before falling asleep.
