Sonic's Pov.
Y/N took my hand, and we both headed downstairs. The gang, except Knuckles, were already downstairs eating.
"Morning!" Y/N and I said in unison, blushing afterwards.
"Good morning to you too." Tails chuckled.
"Sonic, you changed back!" Amy exclaimed, glomping Sonic like she normally does. Y/N giggled at my reaction to it.
"Well, not forever. I will go back to being a werehog at night." I stated, prying Amy off of him, to which Amy sighed sadly.
"What's a werehog?" Y/N asked.
"It's like a werewolf, only Sonic is a hedgehog, so..." Tails tried to explain.
"Don't worry Tails, I get what you mean." Y/N replied.
"Yeah and the only way to turn Sonic back to normal is-" Tails was cut off by me covering his mouth.
"To- um... find all the Chaos Emeralds, right buddy?" I indicated to Tails.
"Of course it is..." Tails taunted.
"Anywho, who's hungry?" Amy questioned. Suddenly, Y/N's and my stomach growled in accordance, making us blush once more while Tails was trying to contain his laugher.
"I have to ask though, where's Knuckles?" Y/N wondered.
"He went off to look for the Chaos Emeralds alone again." Amy sighed, "He should just realize that we need to work together to find them and not work alone."
"That's Knuckles for ya!" I said, grabbing a pancake and stuffing it in his mouth, "Well, I'm gonna go for a ru-"
"Hold it!" Tails stepped in front of him.
"Something wrong?" I asked. Tails motioned towards Y/N as if saying "you know what."
"Are you sure that now is a good time?" I whispered, blushing, but Tails simply nodded. I reminded him the problem by pointing to Amy. Amy would kill me if she saw, literally.
"Don't worry, I'll handle it." Tails gave me a thumbs up before calling out to Amy, "Hey Amy, can you help with the X-Tornado for a moment?"
"Sure Tails." Amy answered, heading outside to where the X-Tornado was. Tails gave me an "ok" sign before heading out too. Now, that it was just Y/N and I in the house, asking her didn't seem as easy as it appeared to be.
"Um... Y/N?"
"Yes?" she responded.
"Are you... perhaps... doing anything today?" I twiddled my thumbs together nervously.
"No, I'm not. Why do you ask?"
"Well... I was just wondering if... you maybe... wantedtohangoutwithmetoday!" I quickly said, hoping that Y/N didn't hear all of it, but she did.
"Sure, I'd love to!" she stated happily.
"You do! I mean..." I tried to keep my cool, "That's great. Ok let's go!" I picked Y/N up, making her blush, and sped off towards a fun place where I could show myself in public without being identified.
