Seized By the Shadow

Y/N's Pov.

*time skip to next day, after school*

"Well, this is your stop F/N." F/N and I began heading back home after a long day of school. When we got to F/N's house, we said our "goodbyes" and I went on to my house. But, F/N decided to be funny and tease me.
"Have fun with your boyfriend!" I facepalmed. Again with this?
"I don't have one!" I yelled back, blushing, but F/N had already gone into her house be then.
After a few minutes of walking, I finally reached my home.
"I'm home!" I called out, only to get no response back. I guess my parents are still not home yet. I dropped of my school bags and quickly ran to the park where I promised to meet Sonic.
When I got to the park, it was completely empty. Not empty in its normal way, but there were no squirrels scurrying or birds flying around. I looked over and saw someone in the forest near the park. It looked like a big hedgehog. It must be Sonic! Suddenly, Sonic ran into the forest. Did he think I was there or did he just not see me? I ran into the forest after him only to find that he had stopped at a clearing.
"Sonic!" I waved to him, which got his attention. He, suddenly, vanished into thin air. Is he trying to pull another prank on me?
"Nice try Sonic!" I called out, "You're not going to surprise me this time."
"Oh, once you see me, I'm sure that you'll be very surprised." I deep and sinister voice called out from behind me. I turned around to came face to face with a black hedgehog with red stripes and blood-red eyes.
"Who are you?" I took a step back.
"You'll find out soon enough." the hedgehog smirked, as I felt weak, but I managed to say something before I fell unconscious.
"Sonic... help me..."

Sonic's Pov.

I ran around the park looked for Y/N. Where could she be? I hoped that she didn't have any other plans to do today.
"Well, well, faker... looks like we meet again." I looked up into the tree and saw my doppelganger, Shadow.
"Shadow!? What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same question, faker."
"I'm just looking for a friend of mine, nothing more."
"Did their name just so happen to be Y/N?" Shadow grinned.
"Y/N?! How did you know?"
"Just a hunch." Then it hit me.
"You..." I tried to contain my anger, "You took her didn't you!"
"The doctor wanted me to fetch her for him. If it made you angry when I captured her, then she must be bait to catch you." Shadow smirked.
"You do realize that you just told me Eggman's plan right?"
"I know. But if you want to get to Y/N..." he paused, taking out a Chaos Emerald, "Then you'll have to get through me first! CHAOS CONTROL!!!" and with that, he was gone.
"Come back here, you coward!" Oh, he was gonna pay for kidnapped Y/N! But I can't rescue her alone. I took out my communicator (idk what it's called) and contacted Tails.
"Hi Sonic. What's up?" I heard Tails's voice.
"Y/N's been kidnapped, that's what's up!"
"What!" I heard Knuckles and Amy's voice too.
"She's at Eggman's base thanks to a certain fake hedgehog."
"Shadow took her? Why?"
"Apparently, Eggman's using her as bait to catch me, but I won't be fooled!"
"Alright, I'll get the X-Tornado ready and give you Eggman's coordinates."
"Good, see ya buddy." I hung up and took off.
"Y/N, please be safe." I mumbled while running.
