The Full Moon Awakens the Beast

Sonic's Pov.

They took us to a room with some kind of giant claw machine. My friends were all thrown in cages, while I was tossed in the center of the machine. I took this chance to try and run to out, but I was stopped by some kind of barrier around the machine. I looked at Shadow and tried to attack him, but the barrier stopped me. Shadow smirked and went over the Eggman.
"Chamber of DOOM, activate!" Eggman yelled, pressing a button.
As soon as he hit the button, I felt myself being sucked to the center of the machine, unable to break free. I struggled to free myself, but it felt as if my whole body was binded together by an invisible force.
"And," Eggman paused, "FIRE!!" Suddenly, the machine shot me with some ray beam of some sorts.
"AAAAHHHH!!!!" I yelled in pain as it hit me.

Y/N's Pov.

"SONIC!!!" I shouted in fear, along with Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. I gipped my chest, holding it in pain. It was almost as if I could feel what Sonic's feeling. It looked as if he was being shocked by electricity, but it wasn't the normal kind of electricity.
Eggman, then, turned off his machine, cackling in delight. It made me feel sick. Sonic had dropped to the ground, trying to get up.
"You... won't... win... Eggman..." Sonic mumbled, standing up.
"Oh ho ho ho! But I already did! Oh ho ho ho!" Eggman replied, cackling again.
Outside though, the clouds surrounding the moon blew away, revealing a bright, full moon. Sonic started shaking, before falling down on his knees again. He, suddenly, looked up at the moon, as if in a trance. Then, something very scary happened.
Sonic's fur grew thicker and furrier (gosh, dat word dou! XD ). His gloves had been torn up as Sonic started to grow bigger and scarier. His shoes had spikes on them. Sonic's teeth became much sharper, looking like fangs. After a few seconds, Sonic opening his eyes, revealing them to be just like a wolf's, before destroying Eggman's machine. He, then, shattered all of Eggman's robots and the cages holding Tails, Amy, and Knuckles.
"That wasn't suppose to happen!" Eggman said, his face in horror, "Shadow! Stop him!"
Shadow leaped toward Sonic, ready to use his Chaos Spear attack, but Sonic quickly ran behind him and threw him against the wall, knocking him out.
"Ah! I'm out of here!" Eggman stated, getting in his Egg Mobile and grabbing Shadow with the Egg Mobile's claw, before flying away.
"Sonic, calm down! Everything's going to be okay now." Tails said, trying to calm Sonic down, but that only enraged him. He started to attack his own friends, as if he was on a rampage. Knuckles tried to fight him off, but to no avail.
"SONIC!!!" I called out, thinking that he still wouldn't hear me, but I was wrong. He turned his head toward me, his wolf-like eyes practically glowing. He made his way towards me, before standing up on his hind legs and raising his hand. I closed my eyes, preparing for the worst.
"Y/N?" I heard a gruff voice. I opened my eyes, to see Sonic's face much softer than before, and his eyes no longer like a wolf's. He broke the cage open, which made me fall down, but he caught me in his big, furry arms. He put me down on the ground before looking at himself with fear.
"What... what happened to me?" Sonic asked.
