Surprise School Visit: Part 1

Y/N's Pov.

*time skip to next morning*

My alarm clock had run, reading 7:23 am. I groaned, remembering that today was Monday, meaning back to school time. I got out of bed and got dressed before heading to the kitchen to get some breakfast. My parents had already left for work, so I made myself some toast. After eating, I brushed my teeth, packed my backpack, and headed out to school. Hopefully Sonic wouldn't worry about where I am...
On my way to school, I stopped by F/N's house, only to see her walk out the door the moment I walked by.
"HI Y/N!!!" F/N yelled, even though we were like 10 feet apart from each other.
"Good morning to you too, F/N." I replied as we both continued on out walk to school.
"So, were you busy all week or something?" F/N asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I tried to call you both yesterday and on Saturday, but you didn't pick up."
Oops. I forgot that we were suppose to hang out this weekend. But I couldn't tell F/N about Sonic, even though I trusted them more than anyone else.
"I just had some... extra school work that I hadn't finished from Friday." I lied, not that I wanted to.
"Oh, alright. We can do homework together after school at my house!"
"Sounds good! I text my parents about it later." (yes, you have an iPhone too. your welcome! :D)
We got to school right as the bell rang and then headed to class.

*time skip to lunch*

After grabbing my lunch, I headed over to a lunch table with F/N. School was normally boring for me, but today, I felt like I was going to die! It felt really lonesome without Sonic and his friends around, even though I was with F/N in most of my classes. We sat down at a table next to the window and started eating. Well, I was. F/N was chomping down their food like a dinosaur.
"Y/N?" I suddenly saw F/N's hand in front of my face.
"What?"
"You've been zoning out, like... all day. Something wrong?"
"Oh, that... I'm just really tired. I didn't get much sleep last night, 'cause of the homework I had." I laughed nervously.
"If you say so."
In all honesty, I was thinking about Sonic and what he and his friends were doing now. Probably out looking for more chaos emeralds, since Eggman stole the one we found. I took a sip of water, and out of the corner of my eye, I could've sworn that I saw Sonic. I nearly choked on my drink before swallowing it. I looked outside again, but he wasn't there. Must be seeing things again... A few minutes later, I finished my lunch, along with F/N, but they were staring outside the window for some reason.
"F/N, you okay?"
"I'm fine, but is today Halloween?"
"What?" Confusion was overloading my brain.
"There's a kid dressed up as Sonic the Hedgehog outside our school." F/N replied, pointing out the window.
I, literally, nearly flipped the table as I looked to see what F/N was pointing out. There I saw him, just standing there. WHAT IS HE DOING?!?!!?!?!? Is he trying to get caught?!
"I'll be right back!" I quickly said before running out the door of the lunch area like a cheetah chasing down an antelope. I made my way to the front of the school, and thankfully it was lunch time, so I wouldn't get in trouble for this. I didn't see Sonic standing there anymore. Where could he be? Was he looking for me?
"There you are Y/N!"
