Are These Feelings Real?

Sonic's Pov.

I looked at myself. I had large and furry arms, along with my new sharp teeth. I grew about a foot bigger in height and my fur was darker in color. I looked like a werewolf, but I still had some of my hedgehog features.
"Are you feeling alright now, Sonic?" I heard Tails ask.
"I think so, but what do you mean 'now?'" I questioned, hoping that it wasn't what I was thinking.
"You went on a rampage a minute ago and almost hurt us," Knuckles said, "Thankfully, you snapped out of it before you hurt Y/N."
"I was gonna hurt Y/N!?!?!" I cried out, before remembering my friends too, "And I hurt you guys..."
"Not much since we're still here and uninjured." Tails said. I felt really bad for hurting my friends and almost hurting Y/N.
"Don't blame yourself, Sonic." Y/N said, "It wasn't completely your fault. You just couldn't control yourself."
"I know, but- Y/N?!" I saw Y/N fall on the ground, but I caught her, thankfully, "Y/N, wake up!" I pleaded, worried.
"Don't worry, Sonic," Tails calmed me, "She just passed out, and I can't blame her for it either. Today was not her kind of average day."
"Will she be alright?" I asked.
"She just needs a goodnight's sleep, and I'm sure that she'll feel better in the morning. We have a spare room in our house for her to rest in." Amy replied. I sighed in relief, before remembering about Y/N's parents.
"What will her family think when she doesn't come home?"
"Does she have her phone with her?" Tails asked. I nodded, pulling her phone out of her pocket and handed it to Tails.
"I'll just text her parents telling them that Y/N is at a friend's house."
"Good thinking, buddy!" I responded to Tails's idea.
"There! Done." Tails put the phone back in Y/N's pocket. "We better get home now. We can figure out what happened to you when we get back Sonic, if that's okay with you?"
"Fine with me." I replied. Tails, Amy, and Knuckles got in the X-Tornado, which is when I realized that I was too big to fit in it. Tails noticed this and scratched his head, before getting an idea and grinned.
"How about you carry Y/N to our home, Sonic?" I blushed at the thought. I carried Y/N from place to place normally, but never when she was asleep. Does Tails know about- He does know doesn't he!
"Sure..." I mumbled.
"Alright, see you two back at the house!" Tails gave me a thumbs up before taking off in the X-Tornado.
That twin-tailed fox knows about my feelings for Y/N! I didn't know whether to think that this was a bad or good thing, but it felt more like a bad thing. I looked down at Y/N, sleeping in my arms. I smiled, thinking that she looked kind of cute in her sleep. I put Y/N on my back before running back to the house. I made sure not to run to fast, so that Y/N doesn't fall off. While running, I questioned myself. Do I like Y/N as more than a friend? Does she feel the same way? Is this... what love feels like?
