Y/N's Funny Feeling

Y/N's Pov.

I don't know what just happened, but I couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of day. I almost even got in trouble for it in class, but F/N backed me up like a good friend. By the end of school, I still couldn't stop thinking about it. Was Sonic serious about what he said, or was he just tried to get back at me?
"So Y/N, you ready to go to my place?" F/N asked. Oh no! I forgot that I was suppose to go to F/N's house today to do homework. But I already promised to meet Sonic back at my house.
"Sure..." I said nervously, "But I first need to make a phone call."
"To who?"
"Um... my parents of course! I still didn't tell them that I would be staying at your place for a while."
"Alright, I'll meet you at my place! SEE YA!!" F/N replied before running off.
I sighed. Hopefully, Sonic would be at my house to hear the phone call. I dialed my home number and waited... and waited... and waited... no one picked up. Darn! Maybe I could leave a voicemail.
"Hey, it's Y/N. If you're there Sonic, I'd like to speak with you." Not a second later, I heard another voice on the phone that sounded like Sonic's.
"Y/N? Why you calling me?"
"I just want to tell you that I'm busy today. I already promised F/N that I would stay at their house and do homework."
"But didn't you tell me to meet at your house after school?"
"Yeah, I kind of forgot about my original plans." I replied nervously, hoping that he wasn't mad.
"Oh..." I heard Sonic answer. From the sound of his voice, he seemed kind of sad.
"I'm really sorry, but maybe we can hang out tomorrow. I'll tell F/N ahead of time that I'm going to be with someone else."
"Alright then!" Sonic's voice turned happy immediately.
"Again, I'm really sorry, but-"
"No need for any 'buts.' Besides, you have to spend time with your friends too."
"Thank you for understanding. Bye!"
"See ya tomorrow!" he hung up.
I still felt bad about not going with him, but I'm sure that he'll manage just fine without me. I quickly caught up with F/N and we continued on our walk home. The moment we got to F/N's house, we ran to F/N's room and started on our homework.

*time skip to after homework*

By the time we finished, it was already dinner time. F/N and I ran to the kitchen and grabbed ourselves something to eat before heading back to the room.
"Hey F/N?"
"Yes?"
"I'm kind of busy tomorrow so I won't be able to do homework with you."
"Awww!" F/N whined , "What are you doing tomorrow, anyway?"
"I promised... another on of my friends that I'd help them out with... something." It wasn't a whole lie.
"Ok then, wait..." F/N looked at me suspiciously. Did they know that I was lying? I was wrong apparently because F/N, then, smirked.
"Is it because of a boy?" F/N asked, still smirking.
"What?! What ever gave you that idea?!" I looked to the side, blushing.
"Because you're blushing! I knew it! You like someone, don't ya!"
"What are talking about?!"
"It makes sense why you were zoning out in class now."
"What- I-"
"So who is this guy you like?" I was cut off.
"No one! Don't say crazy things like that!"
"But it's true and don't you even think about lying to me!"
"Um- I- well-" I couldn't think of anything to say. I couldn't tell F/N about Sonic, but I also knew that there was no way out of F/N's crazy idea.
"~Y/N's got a boyfriend! Y/N's got a boyfriend!~" F/N sang.
F/N was never going to give up on this thought and I know it, but... F/N said that I was blushing. Was it because of So- No! Don't think things like that Y/N! He's a hedgehog! But then... why do I have this funny feeling inside me?
