Clarke rushed outside and bumped into someone.

"Oh sorry" she said immediately looking up to see Jasper. A painful memory hit of Jasper cradling Maya in his arms. Clarke had killed her. "Jasper..." she began, desperate to explain but he walked away, his face drawn and closed.

Clarke stared into the distance and let tears fall down her cheeks. She didn't care if anyone saw, whenever she looked anywhere she saw what she did...all those people.

Octavia hadn't forgiven her for allowing the grounder village to be blown up but Clarke had only been trying to do what was best for Bellamy!

Clarke blinked, bringing the world back into focus and she quickly wiped the tears from her face.

That night, everyone rejoiced! The grounders had gone and The Mountain Men too. People danced around in the torch light and drank whatever they could find.

Clarke sat around the edge of the tents watching. Octavia and Lincoln were sat side by side laughing and smiling, Bellamy was talking to Jaspar and Monty who both looked in shock but Clarke was sure a few drinks would change that. Bellamy smiled cheekily, he always did look like he was up to something and had a mischievous glint in his eyes.

He started looking around, as if searching for someone, Octavia Clarke pressumed. His eyes rested on Clarke but she didn't see him coming.

"Here" he said and she jumped slightly as he came to sit beside her. She took the small metal cup from his hand and heald it on her knees. "You alright?" Bellamy said, not looking at her.

Clarke debated telling him how she was feeling...what she was seeing but she didn't.

"Yeah. I'm tired. I'm going to head to sleep" she said, standing abruptly and placing the cup of alcohol back into his hands.

She walked away leaving him there. He watched her walk away with worry and chucked the alcohol down his throat before walking back to join the others.

Clarke made her way to her tent and the second she was alone she fell to the floor, landing on her bed.

She curled in on herself and placed her head on her knees, surrounded by blankets.

And she started to cry. She never usually cried...well not in front of anyone anyway.

She couldn't help it, she knew she had to bare the guilt of what she did but she could still see the faces of all those innocent people, the people who helped her.

She had betrayed them to save her own people. Deep down she knew that even if she could go back in time to that moment where her hand was pressed on the lever...she would still do it. She had to do it to save her mother and her friends!

Clarke crawled into bed, wrapping herself up in the blankets on the cold night. She curled her toes up and squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block out the raucous yelps and whoops coming from outside. However sleep did not come peacefully.

"I'm sorry!" Clarke screamed as she saw Maya, with a bloody and burnt face rise from Jasper's arms.

"You killed us!" She said in a voice of sad disbelief that made Clarke want to melt into the wall and become a particle in the air.

"I...I had to-"

"To save your friends! Yeah I get it!" Maya cried, turning malicious and horrifyingly scary in a matter of moments. "I thought we were your friends!" She roared and Clarke looked around at the massacre of people, many were men and woman who had helped them hide and kept them safe.

"Maya I..." Clarke began, tears streaming down her face now, but no words came...she didn't know what to say.

"My parents DIED! To protect you and your friends!" She spat, coming for Clarke and gripping her by the neck.

Clarke stumbled backwards almost tripping over a hand and her back smashed into a wall.

"Remember when you heald a piece of Glass to my Neck Clarke? When we first met?" She spat and Clarke wanted to explain but she couldn't get a breath out.

Clarke glanced over at where Jasper sat and she fought for air.

"J...Jasper" she croaked and he looked up, his cheeks tear stained. "H...help".

"Why would I help you! Maya trusted you! You killed her! You're a killer Clarke!" He spat, his usual care free tone now a harsh emotionless drone.

Soon enough Maya faded away and Clarke was left to stare at what she had done.

She caught sight of a small girl, burnt all over from the radiation, her small hand clasped within a womans...her mother presumably.

Clarke fell to the floor as she stared at the mess she had made.
Octavia appeared behind her and Clarke felt relieved...surely she would understand!

"No one will forgive you for this! No one!"
