Ava finally lifted her head up from the bed. She looked around the room, both shocked and scared. It took her nearly twenty minutes before she noticed Jorel was watching her from across the room. She shifted a little as her eyes met his and instantly she noticed them flash a bright crimson color.

"Am I dead?" Ava asked softly.

"More than ever... Well technically you're undead, but I guess there isn't much of a difference." Jorel shrugs his shoulder and looks at her.

"Why would I want to be undead?!" Ava snaps in a panicked tone.

Jorel moves forward and takes her face in his hand, Ava tried to back away, but he only tightened his grip as his eyes flashed a deeper shade of red.

"I did you a favor." Jorel growls.

Ava shakes her head, "You should've let me die. No one wouldn't of missed me. My life means nothing."

"This is better for you."Jorel sighs.

Ava rolls her eyes, "Better how?"

"I can't tell you that yet. Just.. Stay here. I'll be right back." Jorel mutters out and then he walks to the door and steps out of the room, he shuts the door and just as he turns back around, he notices Johnny enter the room with a woman in his arms.

"Who is that?" Jorel looks at the girl before he looks at Johnny and then growls.

"Faith. She was attacked. I wasn't going to just let her die." Johnny shrugged, "Where is she?"

"Where is who?" Jorel looked at him.

That's when he watched the taller man cross the room and walk over to the wooden door.

"I'm not fucking stupid, Jorel." Johnny snaps. Faith quickly escapes his arms and moves to open the door, she practically throws herself inside and then she shuts and locks the door behind herself. Avalon backs into the corner and looks at the other female in confusion.

"What's happening?" Ava whispers.

"I'm not sure..." Faith shakes her head.

"What are they yelling about?"

"Shut up and listen."

Faith and Ava both move to the door, listening to the argument taking place outside.

"You fucking turned someone?!" Johnny hisses as he glares at Jorel.

"She was dying." Jorel growls.

"So?! People die all the fucking time." Johnny retorts.

Jorel rolls his eyes and sighs heavily, "She was alone. She had no one. They left her alone to die. You don't understand."

"Are you fucking serious?! I don't understand? Jorel, you don't fucking understand."

"You saved me."

"So fucking what?"

"When I was laying in that bed.... Dying... With no one and nothing. You fucking saved me. You should know why I couldn't leave her. I thought it was easy prey... I did... But I couldn't... She was begging for help. After she turned, her eyes flashed. Just like mine. I did something fucking good. I felt something good, something I haven't felt in years." Jorel looks away as tears threaten to spill down his cheeks.

Johnny stays quiet for the longest time before he sighs and shakes his head.

"Come on. We need to go find the guys." Johnny mumbles and makes his way to the door. Jorel whimpers and glances at the door before he quietly nods his head and follows behind Johnny.
