Jorel sat down on the ground and looked up at Johnny, knowing the man was becoming frustrated with him. It had been six months since he had turned him but Jorel had little to no self control still.

"Jorel... I really need you to focus." Johnny kneeled so he was eye level with Jorel.

"I'm trying... But every time I think of the blood. Every time I see the blood. It drives me insane because I keep thinking about her." Jorel whispers.

"I know.. Trust me. I know. You can't linger on that. You have to let her go."

"We were going to get married and have a family, but I fucked up. Just like I always do."

"You don't always fuck up."

"Oh yeah? What about the day I left the hospital? When I attacked that man and we had to run from those cops."

"Yea... That was bad, but it wasn't your fault. You're a newborn. You're crazy. It's my job to keep you in check, little dude."

"Good luck with that. I'm a lost cause."

"You're not."

"Why don't you think so?"

"Because you're here with me, letting me help you."

"That's because you remind me of my brother..."
