FOR THIS STORY

Werewolf: Human with the spirit of a wolf. The wolf spirit is able to communicate with the human through thoughts. Having this wolf spirit allows the human to shift into wolf form and gives the human extra speed, strength and heightened senses in human form. Werewolves "mark" each other to show other unclaimed wolves that they are taken. Marks are a bite where the shoulder and neck meet. Only your mate will have the same mark as you. Mating is well... smut ;)

Alpha: Leader of the pack, they are born into it by heritage or any wolf may challenge their Alphas to a fight if they think they can lead the pack better.

Luna: Alpha's mate, also called Alpha female. Helps around the pack more emotionally (solves disputes and such). Lunas can fight but usually stay around with the pack members who don't fight to keep them calm.

Beta: Second highest rank. Alpha's second hand man. Most trusted wolf by the Alpha and basically just helps the Alpha with stuff like battle plans, paperwork and all that jazz.

Beta Female: Beta's mate, helps Luna, usually becomes the Luna and Gamma Female's best friends. When it come to a battle, she stays with the pups, omegas and any wolf who doesn't want to fight.

Gamma: Third highest rank, helps the Alpha and Beta with battle plans, helps with training and pack security. When it is battle time, Gamma stays with the Luna.

Gamma female: Does the same jobs as the Beta female.

Pack Doctors: the wolves who helps injured warriors during battle. THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE.

Omegas: Lowest rank in the pack. Takes care of cooking and cleaning.

Rogues: Wolves without packs, some are vicious and very dangerous.

MATES: A mate is a wolf's other half. Mates are believed to be chosen by the Moon Goddess. You can tell if a wolf is your mate of not by smell (they should smell good), looks (they should be the most beautiful creature you have ever laid your eyes on) and touch (you should feel tingles or sparks when you touch). There is very rarely a rejection and if there is, there are no second mates.

Pack house: Mansion where all pack members live (most of the time). Has anywhere from 3-5 floors depending on the Pack's size. Pack house is decided into "sections" and omegas are assigned to each section.

Pack Link: Any pack members in the same pack have this ability to communicate in their minds.

Pack members have a choice whether or not they want to live in the pack house, most usually stay because of the sense of security they get when they are together.

Packs usually have 100-500 members. All wolves shift at age 13 and find their mates at 18.
