I walked into the room, and saw a long, ebony wood table. I sat down on one of the several seats and Liam followed in suit. Alpha Blake and Luna Christine sat down at the head of the table, whispering in hushed voices.
Alpha Leo and Luna Elise sat down in front of me. They looked confused as to why they were brought here. "I have brought you all here today on behalf of a very special occasion. I believe we have found another Pack Warrior." Alpha Blake stated and smiled at me.
"Wait, aren't Pack Warriors extinct or at least, very hard to find nowadays? What does this have to do with one of our omegas?" Luna Elise asked politely.
"That's what you think." Alpha Blake scoffed.
*Flashback* 10 years ago. (Alpha Leo's P.O.V.)
"Alpha, there is an important letter for you. Alpha Blake says it's urgent." One of my fighters came to my desk and dropped off a golden envelope. It was elegantly designed with delicate swirls and moons. I scoffed, Blake was always one to impress.
Alpha Meeting
I, Alpha Blake of the Moonstone Pack demand that all Alphas must attend this meeting. Only Alphas will be permitted to enter my land, even your Lunas will be denied entrance. Important matters will be discussed. Moonstone Pack will declare war on any Alphas pack who refuse to attend. There are no exceptions.
Do not be late. 8 pm, March 22, 2006.
Only Alphas? Such a meeting is unheard of, especially if the invitation is sent on the same day as the meeting is happening. Only the most powerful Alpha in the world could do that, I chuckled to myself and I walked up to my room. My beautiful mate tackled me from behind. "Leo, where are you headed to?" She giggled playfully.
"Belinda, my beautiful angel, I'm sorry to say that I have to attend a meeting tonight. I will be back tomorrow morning." I said as I brushed my fingers through her short, soft hair.
"I can't come can I?" Belinda asked with a sad expression.
"No my love, you cannot, but I will be back as soon as I can." I kissed her on both cheeks. I began to pack my bags and Belinda rubbed my shoulders. She hummed a soft tune and I low growl escaped my throat. "Little mate, if you do not stop that now, I will never be able to leave." My sweet angel giggled and laid down on my bed, reading the invitation.
"This sounds serious. You better get a move on."
I arrived onto Moonstone territory. A couple of guards showed me to the room I would stay in. I looked at the empty bed, and my heart crumbled when I realized my little princess wouldn't be by my side tonight. This better be a very important meeting, I growled. I heard a knock on my door.
"Leo, it's nice to see you. The meeting starts in one hour. Be ready." I turned to see Blake leaning against the doorframe.
"Blake, how's it going?" I walked over to him and shook his hand. We smiled to each other. We were close friends, just like our fathers were. Suddenly, Blake's expression hardened as he received a mind-link.
"Do not be late." Blake stalked out of the room, leaving me with a baffled expression. He was usually a laid-back guy. Whatever this was, it must be serious.
An hour later, I found myself seated with a room full of Alphas. It was no surprise that all the Alphas had decided to show up. The aura of dominance we were emitting was enough to keep the guards well away from the meeting room. Blake entered the room and by his side stood a blonde woman. I could already tell she was strong-willed and confident.
