Everyone stood under the moonlight and waited patiently for the moon to reach its' peak, the ceremony would commence then. The marks on all of the Lunas' shoulders glistened under the moon's comforting glow. The soft smile on my face wavered when I remembered my vision from so long ago. Though Liam's mark saved me, it could kill him in the near future.

Liam'turned to face me when he felt the shift in my emotions. He pulled me closer to him and kissed the top of my head. I know what you're thinking. You are so much stronger now and you have been able to block out all the Levagairs thoughts. We'll make it through this, Liam consoled me gently.

I know, but I can't stop thinking about it, I replied as I wrapped my arm around his waist. What Liam didn't know was the closer the Levagairs got, the more the suspense and self-doubt filled my mind. I knew that this was all their doing, but it was tiring to put up blocks at all times.

I looked to my left and saw Sharon and Dylan in a similar position. Sharon had her eyes closed and head leaned against his shoulder. I saw Dylan's content smile and his eyes held an intense love for my best friend. I wondered if that was how Liam looked at me.

"Thank you all for being here tonight. I'm sure you all know why you are here. Just to clarify any rumors and confusion, yes, pack warriors still exist. We have never been wiped off this planet and yes, everyone in my pack is a pack warrior, including myself." Blake grinned when shocked gasps escaped the Lunas' lips. Christy dug her elbow into his side and Blake immediately dropped his smile.

"All the Alphas know about the existence of pack warriors. They could not tell you because they were bound to silence by a Blood Oath. This Blood Oath will be broken once the mind-link ceremony is complete." Christy looked up to the moon and took a deep breath. "Lunas, form a circle and link hands."

Liam, Blake, Dylan, Sharon and I watched on as the ceremony began. The moonlight around the Lunas gave them an iridescent glow. Blake's eyes were completely transfixed on Christy as she began to chant foreign words. Christy looked like an angel to me, I could only imagine how her beauty was perceived in his mind.

"Lunessa bindieray oaureh meendisa!" Christy exclaimed and all the Lunas' heads whipped back. I could feel a pulse radiate from the Lunas. Once the invisible wave hit me, I could hear thousands of voices speaking different languages. I put my hands to my temples and began to separate the voices.

To my surprise, I realized that I could understand all the werewolves' words no matter what language they spoke. The voices in my head began to clear as I gained control of this powerful mind-link. My attention turned to the cheers of the Lunas as they hugged each other.

"Yes! They did it!" Sharon shouted as she jumped grabbed my arms. I laughed as we swung around and cheered. "Perhaps a glass of red wine to celebrate?"

"Perhaps three large glasses," I smiled. I was thrown into a daze as new power flowed through my body. The larger your pack was, the more strength each member had and right now the whole world was one big pack. Sharon and I grabbed our mates and marched off to the pack house.

The pack house buzzed with excitement and cheers. Someone had turned on the stereo and music was blasted throughout the pack house. "This calls for a big a*s party!" Brian shouted and the pack hollered back in agreement.

"Big a*s party?" Blake and Christy stepped into the house and our excitement immediately morphed into anxiousness.

"Or... A quiet celebration with a few bottles beer." Byran said sheepsihly as he turned the volume down.

"Much better. Some of the Lunas will be heading back tonight. Make sure you say your farewells before they go, and don't start your 'party' until they leave." Christy said sternly. She left to retrieve some of the Vekaldi tears to give to the Lunas before they left.

Blake watched as she walked down the hall and quietly whispered, "Don't you dare drink all the Coors Light before I come back. Got it?!" We all chuckled and nodded silently.

"Kate's going to help me pick out what to wear." Sharon said as she grabbed my hand and we walked upstairs.

"More like you're going to help me pick out what to wear." I laughed. The first thing that caught my eye when she opened the door was her disastrous bed. "Did a tornado wreck your bed or something?"

"Yea, a really powerful tornado. Such an innocent mind, so pure, so precious." Sharon snickered under her breath.

"First thing's first. Makeup!" I rushed excitedly to her vanity and opened the drawer. "Holy. Sh*t," Sharon's makeup collection had definitely grown since the last time I saw it.

"I can't help it. Every time the girls and I go out, Sephora is the place I'm naturally drawn to. It's a curse." Sharon said dramatically. A pang of jealousy flickered in my gut. Between the visions, training, forging weapons and Liam, I didn't have much time to go out with the other pack members.

"Girls?" I questioned casually and I picked up an eye shadow palette.

"Oh, please, you're my best friend and you know it. The thing's we've gone through have been much more scarring than Vivian trying to apply eyeliner.." We burst out into laughter and I almost dropped the palette.

"I love you so much." I said as I hugged her tightly. Suddenly Sharon stepped back.

"Listen, I've been meaning to give you this, but I didn't know when to." Sharon reached into her bedside drawer and dug through its contents. "Here." She placed two white envelops in my hand. One with Liam's name and one with mine.

"No, no. You aren't doing this." My vision blurred as tears began to form in my eyes.

"I have to. You should to. We don't know what's going to happen in this war. It's going to be the worst thing we'll ever have to go through. If I end up dying at least you'll have something to read." Sharon hugged me as we both began to cry.

"I'll protect you. Dylan will protect you. Blake, Christy, Liam, we'll all protect you. Sharon, this whole pack is in love with you and your witty humour. Nothing will happen to you." I cried into her shoulder.

"We don't know that for sure, but it would be a waste if this sexy body died young, wouldn't it?" She joked, lightening up the mood, "Let's not keep our mates waiting too long, yea?"

"I'm curling your hair this time." I said, grabbing the curling wand.

"Like I said, it would be a waste if this sexy body died young." Sharon snatched the wand out of my hands.

"Shut up!" I laughed.

Good evening! Just a reminder, the vision Kate was talking about was the one where the Levagairs gain control of her by using her bond with Liam (strengthened by their marks) and forcing her to kill him. Follow, comment and vote!
