I looked out the window as we pulled up to a long driveway. There was a large gate with a voice thing that they have a fast food restaurants. The driver pushed the button and a very snobby male voice rang through the speakers.

"Milton residence."

"Uh yeah, I'm here with Jinger Holland and Ashton Irwin." The driver said.

"Oh the new kid..." The snobby voice said before the gate opened.

We drove down yet another long driveway, going over a small bridge with a pond underneath. We finally got to the house, which wasn't like a house but a castle. It was very big and decorated with lights and flower gardens.

A skinny man with a tux on opened the door and Jinger got out. I got out after her and another guy walked to the back of the car and opened the trunk.

"Where are his bags?" He asked.

Jinger turned to me and eyed my backpack, "I'm bringing the rest of his stuff tomorrow."

"Piper said she was..." I whispered but I don't think she heard me.

We walked up the stairs that lead to the front entrance. The first guy in the suit opened the door and we all walked in. Inside we were greeted by a woman with a long coat and funny looking sunglasses propped up on her dark head of hair.

"Hello dear!" She said walking up to me and giving me kisses on both cheeks.

I felt my heart race as the small touches lingered and felt as if they were burning into my skin. I had the urge to rub it off but I knew it was rude.

She moved on to Jinger doing the same thing, asking her how she's doing and while she was turned away I had the chance to rub my cheeks but it didn't help. She lead us into the large living room and sat us on the leather couches.

"This is so exciting. Our youngest foster kid just went away to college, you know." The lady told me.

"Oh so there's no other foster kids here?" I asked.

"Nope. That's why we were able to take you in."

"Mrs. Milton's been fostering children for thirty years." Jinger told me.

"Oh please, Jinger, he can call me Gina." She said sending a warm smile my way.

"Of course." Jinger put on a smile.

"So Ashton, is there anything you're interested in? Sports or maybe theater?" Gina asked.

"Uh... not really." I shrugged.

"Ashton's been going to a support group for a few days." Jinger said, "They meet three times a week."

"Oh that's right!" Gina said, "You don't like touching, I'm so sorry."

"It's okay.." I said guessing she was referring to the kiss.

"Where do they meet at?" Gina asked.

"Artwood High School. It's like fifteen minutes from here."

"Okay why don't you..." She started pulling out the drawer of the table next to her and grabbing a notebook and pen, "write down the days and I'll hand it to Miguel so he can take him."

Jinger took the notebook. I'm actually surprised at how she knows the days. She handed her back the paper and Gina stuck in the the space between her head and the sunglasses.

"And we've also got you a great teacher, Ashton." Gina told me, "He's taught every one of my kids- brilliant."

I smiled, thankful that they didn't make me go to a real highschool. This actually doesn't seem that, besides the fact that Pipers not here.

"Well I have to get going, I have to get his sister to her home shortly." Jinger said standing up.

"When can I see her?" I asked.

"Soon." She nodded but it didn't seem very promising.

I sighed as the sound of her heels clicking against the marble floor echoed through the room.

"So are you hungry, Ash? I hope I can call you Ash." Gina smiles at me.

"Sure. And no I'm pretty tired though."

"Of course." She nodded, standing up, "I'll show you to your room."

We walked up the long flight of stairs then past a few hallways before we finally got to the room.

The entrance had two doors with fancy looking doorknobs. Gina opened one and let me inside first. It looked like a hotel room. The bed was huge and had multiple pillows on it and a giant flat screen TV hung on the wall ahead of it.

"I hope it meets your expectations." Gina said.

"I would be happy just sleeping on the couch." I said setting my backpack down on the long box below the bed.

"The bathrooms on this side and your closet is on the other." She pointed to both directions, "And the balcony has a table so if you ever want to eat your breakfast up here I'll let Malory know."

"Who's Malory?" I asked.

"She'll be your servant."

"My servant?" I asked with my jaw dropped, "This really is like a castle."

Gina chuckled, "It is indeed. Now you have a rest and meet me downstairs at seven, we'll have dinner then."

"Okay." I nodded.

She smiled and left the room, shutting the door gently. I sighed and climbed up on the huge bed, sinking in the fluffy covers.

I could so get used to this.
