The guy with brown hair and some blonde streaks walks up to me and sits in the chair next to mine that was now empty. He awkwardly smiles at me and looks at the woman who's name I still don't know."Alrighty, today we're just going to get to know to know each other. What're you interests, ask each other about family- stuff like that." She explains.
I turn to the kid. We both kinda stared at each other for a moment.
"I'm Calum." He speaks up, "I'm 17..."
"Luke and I'm 17 as well..."
"I know, you go to my school." He says, laughing under his breath.
"Oh..." I mumble, blushing, "Sorry.. I don't really pay attention to people at school."
He chuckles, "I've noticed."
I laugh a little as well and look at my shoes.
"So what'd you say you had? Iso... something.." He tries to remember.
"Insomnia." I correct.
"Oh right. What is that? Like cancer or something?"
I laugh, "No. It means I can't sleep."
"You can't sleep?" He asks.
I shook my head, "No... but I do sleep sometime's during the weekend but it's not enough."
"Damn... Why can't you sleep?" He asks.
"Well I have secondary insomnia which means I'm having sleeping problems because of something- probably depression." I say, regretting revealing that much.
"Shit that sucks... Did you sleep last night?"
"Nope..."
"Are you tired?"
I stare at him for a second before bursting into laughter, "Of course I am tired."
He laughs too before staring at the ground, unsure of what to say.
"And you're addicted to sex?" I ask, unsure of if I actually believe it or not.
"Well I guess it's more complicated than that." He admits, "My stepbrother said I have athazagoraphobia... if I'm even pronouncing it right. Anyway, that's what started this... addiction or whatever."
I could tell he wasn't comfortable with talking about his issues but I ask anyway, "So what's athaza... however you say."
He giggles quietly, "It's a fear of being forgotten or whatever."
"You say whatever a lot." I point out, making him laugh again.
"So you're scared of being forgotten?" I ask, continuing the conversation.
He nods, "That's why I started sleeping with a lot of people, they can't forget my name if they're moaning it, right?"
I nod, but I'm not really sure.
"So do you have any siblings?" I ask.
"Yeah I have a sister named Mali, she's not with us anymore-"
"Oh my god did she die?" I quickly ask.
He laughs, "No. She moved out. Awhile back."
I nod and blush, feeling stupid for thinking she was dead.
"Hah, you blush a lot." Calum points out.
I blush even harder and look down.
"And I have a stepbrother he's older than me and I think my stepmum's pregnant or something." He continued.
"You think she's pregnant?"
"Well she seems like it. I don't know how thought because she hasn't got a man, you know?"
"Oh..."
"What about you? Any siblings?" He asks.
"Yeah I have two brothers, Jack and Ben." I say.
"Are you a momma's boy cause you seem like it..." He narrows his eyes.
I blush and looked down, "Kinda... I guess."
He chuckles before he was cut off by loud clapping.
"Alright guys that's all the time we have left for today. Tomorrow I'll switch up your partners a little." The lady announces.
Everyone stands up, ready to leave.
"Everyone have a good day and I'll see you all tomorrow."
