"So how are you gunna get him to be friends with you?" I ask Calum later that night.

"We're already kinda friends." He states, "Plus we go to the same school."

"Oh..." I say, nodding.

"I'm gunna get his number then like invite him for dinner or something." He said.

"I really hope he likes me." I mumbled.

Calum laughed, "I'm sure he does."

"He's just so i don't even know and his name is so hot. Luke." I said.

Calum laughed even harder.

"Isn't he the cutest thing ever?" I asked.

"He is quite charming." Calum said, "But I'm more into Ashton."

"Really?" I asked.

Ashton was cute... I guess but I would've never thought that Calum would like him.

"Yes! He's perfect." He sighed.

I chuckled, lightly before Calum groaned and hung up. He said his brothers been pissing him off all day so I guess what happened.

"Who's Luke?"

I turned my head towards Tori who stood by my door.

"Eavesdropper." I said.

"Is he your boyfriend? I never thought you'd be gay. I don't mind, I just don't know why you didn't tell us? Is he cute? Where'd you meet him?"

"Shhh!" I said, not wanting to hear any more.

"I'm not telling you anything and I'm not gay." I said.

"Pfft, yeah right."

I rolled my eyes, "What's up with that?" I asked.

Her hair was a shade darker than it usually is, also parted down the middle and straightened. She wore a black jacket and black ripped skinny jeans.

"It's my new look, I'm in a band." She smiled.

I tried to hold back my laughter, "A band? You can't even sing."

"I play guitar."

"Since when do you know how to play guitar?"

"I found your old one in the basement and taught myself. Then I bought an amp with my birthday money." She explained.

"You have an amp?" I asked, slightly jealous.

"Yeah... You don't want you guitar back, do you?" She asked, biting her lip.

"Which one is it?"

"The red one."

I shook my head, "Nah, you keep it."

She smiled, "Wanna hear about the band?"

I sighed and nodded, I have nothing better to do.

"I play lead guitar and my friend Shelby plays bass. My friend Matt plays drums and Tylers our lead singer." She said, "And Shelby writes songs."

I nodded, it seemed like a decent band, for a bunch of 8th graders.

"You should watch us practice one day." She suggested.

"Maybe I will..." I smiled.

She grinned from ear to ear, "Great! We meet at 6 on Thursdays."

I gave her a thumbs up as she walked out the room, "Don't forget."
