It's been five days and Ashton still hasn't been to group. I wonder if he moved or something. I sure as hell hope not.
Michael knows somethings up and he's been bugging me about it. And I feel so bad about what happened between Luke and I. It's completely my fault too.
Carols not putting us in small groups anymore but making us all talk together. She asked us to tell the group our progress and I'm nervous as hell. I could lie of course but I'm scared that if I look at Michael I'll lose it.
Luke stood up and shrugged, "I haven't had any progress."
I looked down at my shoes awkwardly. I have no idea how Carols gunna respond to that honestly. She just probably smiled as usual.
It was my turn so I stood up as well and put my hands behind my back, "Yeah I've seen... progress."
"That's great, Calum." Carol smiled- fakely.
After group was over, Michael ran up behind me and grabbed my arm, "You're lying."
"What?" I asked, moving my shoulder back so he'd let go of me.
"When she asked about our progress, you were lying. I saw that you were crossing your fingers behind your back." He said.
I mentally groaned. I've been doing that since I was a kid and now I don't even realize I do it.
"Who'd you sleep with?" He asked, "And I'm only asking cause I'm worried."
"Uh..." I mumbled my voice getting higher, "You don't him, someone I go to school with."
He nodded and searched my face intensity. Like he was looking for some kind of clue of me lying or something.
A loud car horn was heard and I turned to see Tobias outside. I turned back to Michael and told him bye before leaving as fast as I could.
"Who's that?" He asked while driving away.
"Michael." I said in a half whisper.
"You don't like him?"
I shook my head, "I never said that."
He laughed, "Okay."
"I kind of..." I started but immediately realized that I can't tell him about Luke and I.
"You what?"
"Nothing." I mumbled quickly.
"It's obviously something now tell me." He said stopping at a red light.
I looked out the window, hoping he'd drop it but of course he didn't.
"If you don't tell me I'll kick you in the balls." He threatened.
I snorted, "You're driving."
"Fine, then I'll punch you."
I sighed, "You're gunna be mad at me."
"Who'd you sleep with..." Tobi asked, disappointment coating his voice.
"I can't tell you. But it's someone who Michael likes." I said quietly.
"Come on, Calum." He said raising his voice.
"Why are you getting so mad?" I defended myself.
"Because I'm driving you and paying for this support group and you're not even trying-"
"I am trying! This was only once and we didn't even go all the way." I defended myself.
He shook his head, "You're fucked up."
I turned back to the front staring at the road and trying my hardest not cry. I knew this was gunna happen.
"You have to tell him."
"What?" I snapped my head at him.
"Michael. You have to tell him what you did."
I shook my head, "No way."
"What if I slept with someone you like? Wouldn't you want to know?" He asked.
"Well..."
"I swear to God, Calum if you don't tell him I will." He snapped.
"Why do you care so much?"
"Cause you're making the same mistakes I did." He said before quietly adding, "And I don't want that for you."
I sighed and rested my head on the cold window. I guess it's better to tell him now then never.
