I woke up that morning at around noon. I didn't get any sleep last night because I was up all night thinking of how I screwed up everything between me and George.

I got up and took a shower. I got dressed into jeans and a T-shirt which wasn't that nice but at least it looked presentable. I had a quick breakfast of cereal and toast.

I couldn't stop thinking of how I'm going to make it up to George. Then I decided I would go into town and find something for him. It was Saturday so I didn't have to go anywhere.

I wrote a not to my mom so she wouldn't worry. I walked to the bus stop and I got on the bus. It dropped me off at the restaurant where George and I ate on our first date.

I walked down the road to the little record shop. I thought I would just browse around and look at the records. I walked around not really looking for anything. I went to the rock and roll aisle and looked at some Elvis records. 'Maybe I could get George a record. Nah, he just got one. Shopping for guys is harder than I thought.' I thought.

While I was looking someone bumped into me. I turned around to see who it was. I found myself looking at George. "Oh hi" I said stupidly. "Hey" he said kind of glumly, probably still upset from last night.

"Um, are you free tonight" I blurted out without thinking. "Yeah I think so." he said perking up. "Do you think you would want to go out tonight. Maybe go have dinner?" I asked hoping that he would say yes.

"Sure. Why not. Do you want me to pick you up."

"Okay. How's 7:00"

"Good"

"Great see you then." I gave him a kiss on the cheek which surprised him and walked out of the shop. I was happy because I got to see George and I could make it up to him. I went home to get ready. All though it's only 2:30.

I was brushing my hair after I changed my cloths. I had put on a skirt and shirt with a peace sign on it. It wasn't too fancy but it was nice.

I went down stairs to tell my mother. "Hey mom" I called halfway down the stairs. "Yes, honey" she answered from the kitchen. "I'm going on a date tonight. I won't be out too late." I was still kind of scared of how she would react even though she said it was fine.

"Oh, okay. Just be home before midnight."

I heard the door bell ring. "That's him" I told my mom. "Have fun" she called after me as I raced to the door. I opened the door and saw George holding a rose.

"Is that for me"

"Yeah. Do you like it"

"I love it. How'd you know I like roses."

"Lucky guess"

He held out his arm and linked arms with him. "So, where are we going?" he asked me.

Remembering that I didn't tell him anything I said "Oh, right, you like hamburgers right?"

"Yes I do"

"Great, 'cause I know the perfect place. Then maybe I thought we could go dancing or something"

"Sounds good to me"

We got off the bus at the restaurant. It was a small place but it looked really good. I found it on my way back home.

We walked in and sat down in booth. The waiter came and took our order. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon. Apparently people don't order that here in England.

The food came and I could hear my stomach growling. I think I ate faster than George. It was great.

"That was delicious" I said licking my lips.

"You must have been hungry"

I laughed and said "I'm always hungry"

"So where to next" he asked me as he paid for the food. "I don't know. Wanna just walk around looking for someplace to go." I said hoping he would come up with an idea. "Sure."

I kinda felt bad for George that last chapter. Poor Georgie. So remember to comment, vote, read, and feedback is greatly appreciated. :)
