~WARNING: CHAPTER MY NOT BE HISTORICALLY ACCURATE

Today wasn't a work day, so I just walked to Paul's after school like he told me. I was a bit nervous. I was having a date with my best friend. To me, that was just a little weird.
I made sure my hair didn't look like a total wreck. I had jeans and a shirt that look all right, I guess. I noticed that lately, I have been wearing sweats and jeans, other than skirts and dresses. I feel like I'm moving out of that girly-girl stage.
I knocked on the door and Paul opened it almost immediately. His face lit up and his eyes overflowed with happiness. "Hey, Julia!" He smiled.
"Hi, Paul," I smiled back. "What 're we gonna do?"
"Do ye like movies?" I nodded. "Well then, I thought we could just 'ave a movie night. What do ye think?"
"I love it!" He smiled a little goofy smile. "Wait, what 'bout your dad and Mike?"
"Oh, I took care of 'em," he smiled deviously.
"James Paul McCartney, what did you do to 'em!" I laughed.
"Oh you know, knocked 'em out, tied 'em up and shoved 'em in a closet in the basement. The usual."
I smiled and shrugged, "Well, okay then." I walked in and sat on the couch, while Paul put the movie in. As it started, he sat down. I scooted a little closer to him.
I got a little closer and rested my head on his shoulder.I can tell he was smiling and blushing. He pit his arm around my shoulder.
Halfway through the movie Paul asked, "Do ye want some popcorn?" I nodded. He got up and put some in the microwave. He came back, a minute later, with some in a bowl.
He sat down next to me and placed his arm around me again and grabbed a whole handful and shoved it in his mouth.
"Look what I can do," he said with a mouth full of popcorn. He grabbed a piece and threw it up in the air. As it fell, he tried to catch it in his mouth. He missed. "Hold on, I can do it." He tried again and again but failed each time.
I grabbed one and turned to him as he failed for the umpteenth time. "Watch and learn." I threw so high up in the air, that it almost hit the ceiling. I caught it in my mouth like I wasn't even trying.
"Boom," I clapped. He looked impressed but he didn't want to admit it. "That was just luck," he said.
"How dare you! No one accuses the master popcorn catching," I said proudly.
"I believe I just did." I gasped trying to look offended. I took a piece of popcorn and threw it at him. He threw one back at me. In no time, it altered into a full out popcorn battle.
We popped some more popcorn and each had an individual bowl. We hid behind the couches and used the pillows for shields. I did a ninja roll behind the couch a few times as well.
When there was no more popcorn to pop, we had no choice but to clean it all up. "Me, being the obvious winner," I spoke, " has to only clean up the pillows while you vacuum."
"You? The winner? Please, it was obviously me." He put his hand on his hip.
I stuck my tongue out at him. "Fine, but you still vacuum."
"All right, that's fair," he went to go get the vacuum.
Completely forgetting about the movie, I put on an Eddie Cochran record. As Paul came up, I started singing.
Well I've got a girl with a record machine
When it comes to rockin' she's a queen
Paul sang the next part
