Guards Danny, Arin, and Mark

I wake up in pain, my chest feels like hammers are slamming against it.  I start coughing, and clutch onto my ribs.  I pull myself out of Mark's arms, and go into the bathroom.  He wakes up just to see me walk out of his room.  I go into the bathroom, and pull my shirt up to see my stomach.  Dark purple  bruises cover all parts of my ribs, and ache like a son of a bitch.  I touch them slightly, and pain rides up my spine.  I gasp in pain, and take in a deep breathe.  My eyes have dark purple bruises under them as well, and my face is covered in different colors.  Yellows, blacks, and blues.  I hear Mark get up, and he comes into the bathroom after me."  Oh god."  He says, and he tries to touch it."  Don't touch!"  I say, and throw my shirt down over my stomach."  It hurts."  I say, and back away from him."  Okay, I won't touch."  He says, and backs away from me."  No...I mean.....sorry."  I say, and my shoulders slouch a bit.  He comes back into the bathroom, and crouches in front of me."  It's okay, I'm going to be watching after you with Danny and Arin."  He says, and puts his hands on my wrists."  Okay?"  He asks, and I nod."  Yeah."

He smiles at me, and tells me to go get dressed.  I look into my room, to see Danny and Arin are still asleep.  I don't want to wake them, and go to my closet.  I'm able to get into my closet, get my clothes, and get out without waking them.  I lock myself in the bathroom, and get dressed.  Black jeans, red hoodie, and pale blue sneakers.  I get out of the bathroom, just to hear Mark wake up the boys."  Get up, there's a monster!"  He yells, and I hear screaming."  Mark, you asshole!"  Danny yells, and walks out of my room."  Hey Angel, you ready for school?"  He asks, and I nod."  Yeah, I just need to get my bag."  I say, and walk into my room.  Arin in slowly getting out of bed, and I take my bag that's still laying where I threw it yesterday.  I take it, and pull it up over my shoulder.  I walk downstairs to see Barry and Kevin sitting up as well."  You guys coming?"  I ask, and they shake their heads."  No, we have  to get back to the office.  We have to finish some editing."  Barry says, and I nod."  You think you'll be okay?"  He asks, and I nod."  Yeah, I'm having three guys follow me all day."  I say.

Barry rubs my shoulder, and smiles at me."  Be safe okay?"  He asks, and I nod.  He smiles, then starts getting ready to leave.  Danny, Arin, and Mark come down the stairs."  Okay, let's get going."  Danny says, and I pull on my bag straps.  We walk out of the apartment, Mark locks it from the outside.  we ride the elevator down, and Danny has his hands on my shoulders.  We get into Mark's car, and he drives to the school."  All three of you guys are joining me today?"  I ask, and Arin nods."  Yep, all day."  He says, and I hide my face in my hands."  Relax Lyca, we aren't going to embarrass you."  Mark says, and I look over at him."  Why is it that I don't believe you."  I say, and he smiles.

He parks the car in front of the school, and they all get out. I sit there for one moment before getting out of the car, and follow them int the school.  We go into the office, and the principle takes Mark into her office."  Let's go get your books."  Arin says, and Danny nods.  They follow me to my locker, and I unlock it."  Wow, you don't have many school books."  Arin says, and I grab my Math book."  I only have three classes that require books."  I say, and grab my notebook."  Okay, where to now?"  Arin asks, and I look down the hall to see Robbie.  He's staring down the hallway at me, and he's waving.  I smile at him, and walk down the hall toward him.  Danny and Arin give Robbie a suspicious look when we get close."  Who is this?"  Arin asks me, and I look up at him."  Arin, Danny, this is Robbie.  Robbie, this is Arin and Danny."  I say.  They shake hands, and I explain how Robbie and I are close friends."  Oh, this is your friend?"  Danny asks, and I nod."  Oh, we're sorry.  We're Lyca's uncles."  Arin says, and Robbie smiles."  It's okay, I know about...her past."  Danny and Arin look down at me, and I nod."  I trust him."  I say, and they both nod.  I see Mark come down the hallway.
