Chapter Eight Part 1: It's Party Time!

I wake up and see the bright light shine through my window I sit up and see my ankle is three times bigger than it was before. Great.

I get up and get dressed into a hot pink shirt with a black kiss mark on it with a pair of ripped denim shorts. "Lily!?" My mom shouts as I open my door. "Meredith is here" She shouts again and I run down the stairs. "Hey Lily you ready to go?" Meredith asks and I frown.

"No I'm so sorry I just woke up" I pout and she smiles at me. "No problem I'll help you" She says as we both run upstairs. "So how was your date?" Meredith asks we both walk inside my room and I close my door. "Okay Meredith I need to tell you something that you can never tell anyone ever not even your closest friend" I look at her my eyes wide open afraid of telling her what happened on the date.

She nods and we both sit down. "One question" She says and I nod. "You aren't pregnant are you?" She looks at me with concern. "What no! I don't even think I could find out in a day but anyways promise me you won't tell anyone" I look at her with hopeful eyes and she nods again with a smile on her face.

"Well it all started when I met Nathan ok so you know how he freaked me out and then kind of attacked me on Friday?-" I pause and she nods. "Well when Toby and I were on the date Toby left the blanket he brought so I went to get it and Nathan grabbed me and pushed me off the edge of a cliff when I woke up Nathan was telling Toby and I that we can go but we can't see each other following?" I stop and ask and she nods engaged in what I'm telling her.

"For some reason Nathan has this alpha control over Toby, Toby can't say no to him so last night Toby was going to come here and hang out with me like he usually does but when I got into my room Nathan was here he told me that I have such a fragile soul and that I have dreams so similar to the future he choked me and is the reason my ankle is officially like a hobbits foot" I look down at my huge ankle hoping she won't freak out.

"I have questions" She says looking at me and I nod. "What do you mean like he usually does?" She asks and I smile. "He visits me from time to time he gets through the window" I look at her and she smiles. "That's sweet it's not exactly how I would want my date to go but its still an exciting night" She gets up and looks around my room and grabs an empty bag.

"Let's get your stuff packed" She says going through my drawers. I laugh a bit as I grab the remote to my stereo and turn it on. I get up and look with her as Pop danthology 2012 plays we both sing along. I put my laptop and my charger in my bag and zip it up.

"Bye mom love you!" I shout as we both run down the stairs and to the door. "Bye have fun!" She shouts back. We jump into her car and she turns the radio up a bit. "Hey can Toby come to the party?" I ask and she smiles. "Of course he can why wouldn't he be able to?" She asks driving out of the neighborhood.

We get to her place and we walk inside the loud music shakes the floor as the people chaotically chatter over the music. "Where's your room? I need to put my stuff away" I shout and she points up where the stairs were her place was like mine but a little older. I run up the stairs and walk into her room and throw my bag onto her bed.

I run back downstairs and run into the kitchen. I grab a red plastic cup and grab a bottle of vodka I pout some in. I put the cup up to my lips and I feel someone's hand pull it away from me. I turn around and see Toby holding my drink. "You are not having any strong drinks I don't want you sick again" He says as he puts the drink up to his lips I take it away.

"Oh hell no you aren't taking my drink!" I shout taking one huge gulp of it. "No!" He shouts in a playing voice he grabs me his arms wrapping around my hips and puts me on his shoulder. He runs into an empty room and closes the door. "Toby what are we doing in here?" I ask as he puts me on my feet. "I need to tell you something I couldn't tell you on our date because of Nathan but if I don't tell you soon I won't be able to ever speak with you again" Toby looks at me seriously and I nod.

"That dream you had of Nathan-" He pauses and turns around I lightly touch his shoulder. "What's wrong?" I ask worried of what he wants to say to me.

Toby's P.O.V.

How am I going to tell her? She will run like the rest did and Nathan will take her either way. I turn around and face her I see her worried eyes shine at mine and I feel sadness overwhelm me. "Just promise me you won't leave I have to tell you later but I will tell you just promise me that you will listen and you won't run from me" I whisper holding back the tears.

She nods and I pull her into a hug I feel her warm body up against mine. I hear her heartbeat and I let the tears flow out of my eyes. She will hate me she will fear me once I tell her my heart once but no longer beats.
