-Andrew-

I walked to the backyard to relax and think about everything that happened this week. As I took every step, I vividly remembered the moment when Chester saved me from those senior guys, and how he kicked the pedal to make us fly above the ground. I smiled to myself, thinking about how someone like him dared to stand up for me. It was quite eccentric, but inside of me, I was happy to have a new friend.

I sat on a bench facing the garden. Sighing, I couldn’t think of anything to ask for. I was contented and happy with my life right now, especially that Reese is now by my side. As I looked at the cloudless sky, I could see my mom smiling down at me. She was my everything, and I loved her so much. I used to open up to her when I was a child. When she died, my whole world crumbled and broke down. I was even sent to the hospital because of so much trauma, and I was made to see a psychiatrist. I have gotten over the incident and finally accepted that my mom would never come back.

Someone sat beside me and a hand was placed above mine.

“Are you alright? You seemed so stressed.” Reese said.

I nodded.

“Yeah. I’m perfectly fine. I just need sometime alone.”

“Sorry.” She was about to stand up, when I held her hand to stop her.

“Just stay here.”

Reese remained in her seat and we both held each other’s hands. It was a nightmare for me to let her go. She was my heavenly bliss, and the girl that I would surely marry when the time comes.

“I love you.” I intimately said.

She smiled and looked at me in the eye.

“Why are you saying that?” she asked.

I shrugged.

I just want to say it. Why? Don’t you love me like I do?”

She ran her fingers through my hair.

“I love you, Andrew. So much.” She sweetly said.

Without answering her, I pursed my lips onto hers. She kissed me back with the same passion I was exerting. We were drawn nearer by our hearts, making the kiss last for quite some time.

For an instant, I felt like I owned the whole world.

Just as we pulled away from the kiss, I heard somebody’s footsteps broke into the view.
