 -Chester-

“Do you really love her?” Michael asked me seriously. He was looking into my eyes and seemed to tell me that if I lied, I would be in danger. I was unsure of my feelings for Naomi. After we accidentally had sex the day after she broke up with Liam, I was feeling a strange feeling in my heart. I was drawn to her, and this never happened to me before, not even with Andrew. There had to be some kind of connection between us, and I was deeply dragged by it.

And one thing, we couldn’t have done it if we weren’t drunk. And another thing, it never happened if she wasn’t too insistent.

I sipped a little of my dark chocolate, while he bit on his blueberry muffin.

“I don’t know. She settled the awkwardness between us, and I agreed to be friends with her again. I just sound so stupid.” I said, confused of what I should do with this situation.

“You really are. Compromising, isn’t it?”

I nodded. “You’re definitely right.”

“Just do it this way. Always remain to be a friend for her, and when you feel like there’s a crazy little thing called love in your heart, then go ahead and tell her. In that way, the night that you passionately shared would be legally accepted by the two of you.”

I couldn’t believe what he said. I had my jaw dropped in shock.

“You’re not kidding, are you?” I asked.

He shook his head. “No.”

I sighed and drank more of the dark chocolate. The cozy atmosphere of the coffee shop didn’t ease my worries about Naomi.

“But on the other side, does Naomi accept what happened between us. I doubt she would.”

“Maybe she did, or maybe she couldn’t. Do you want to ask her?”

I could have thrown the whole cup to him. He wasn’t saying anything good. Well, partly. He was giving me good advices. I didn't know which ones to choose.

"I still don't know. Maybe when the time comes. Maybe she'll love me." I said instead.

"She will. You're one hell of a lovable guy." he replied simply.

I was touched by that.

Everyday was a daily routine. Naomi and I still got around as friends, and with each day, I found myself attracted to her. I didn't know why such a feeling sprouted in my heart. It was all a spontaneous situation, with nothing to expect and look forward to. When I look at her secretly, I remember that passionate night we spent while we were drunk. When she smiled, I smiled back, but with pure bliss sweeping off every corner in my heart. I wasn't looking at her now as my best friend. For me, she was more than a friend.

Always remain to be a friend for her, and when you feel like there’s a crazy little thing called love in your heart, then go ahead and tell her. Michael's words reverberated in my mind. Damn, that was too much. I wasn't sure if I love her or was just drawn to her.

"Hey, can you give me a ride home? I left my wallet in my room." she said, with those puppy eyes and sweet smile. She has always been my passenger, I wouldn't say no for an answer.

"Sure. Let's go." I said happily, and just like the old times, I took her hand as we walked to the wide parking lot.

She rode on the back of my bike, while I sat on the soft seat preparing to take off.

"Be careful." she reminded.

"Yeah, I know." I said and started to kick the pedals.

The air around us felt so good with every kick I did to move us away from school. Naomi spread her arms wide like we were in a countryside. I drove carefully to the main gate.

Just when we were about to go out of the cmpus, a car screeched its tires loudly and halted to a stop in front of us.

I grabbed the brakes of my bike. Naomi hopped off and looked at the car intently.

"Oh my god, it's him." she said.

The door of the sleek black car opened and revealed a stern man. In a plit second, I recognized who he was. It made my whole body freeze in fear.

Noah Rivers.

"Get in the car, my dear sister." he demanded.

Naomi and I looked at each other, both confused.

"No. I'm going home with him. You don't have to come here and do that, right? I'm not a kid anymore." she answered, obviously refusing his brother's offer.

"You're going home with him?" he said and pointed at me. "Everyday?"

Naomi was nervous, but she kept on thinking ways on how to counter attack her brother.

"Yeah. Everyday. Why the hell does it matter to you?" she said and rolled her eyes. She rode back on my bike.

"Let's go, Chester."

I was about to kick the pedal to leave, but Noah spoke up.

"If you go with him, you can't come inside the house anymore. Now, you better choose."

I was beginning to boil up. This man was too hard on her, like she was a robot or something. I clenched my fists in anger. This was too much.

"Naomi, get off of my bike. Go home with your brother. I don't want you to suffer because of me."

She didn't say a word and got off of my bike. She let herslef inside her brother's car, while Noah walked up to me.

He lightly caressed my cheek. "Good boy." he said and punched me in the gut. I stopped myself in letting out a moan and took in his harsh actions.

"But get yourself out of my sister's life, okay? Just because you had sex with my sister doesn't mean you can be with her anytime you want to. i know every single detail in your life, you slut. So you better don't hide anything from me. Your life is not over. Understand?"

I didn't say a word to tell him how I feel. I looked on the ground while piling up all that he said. His eyes never escaped mine.

He grabbed the collar of my shirt and forced me to look into his fierce, burning eyes.

"Do you understand me?!" he yelled.

I nodded. People were looking at the scene between us and whispered words of gossips. I didn;t give them a damn. Finally, Noah let his hand off of my shirt and got in the car.

I watched them leave, while my heart broke into a million pieces.
