-Hera-

“You know what, Chester’s cute.” I said to Naomi that night. I was in her room, using her laptop while browsing through the internet. My laptop got broken because of some unknown virus. She was lyingon her bed, and moments later, I knew she’d fall asleep.

For nearly five minutes, she didn’t say anything. All she did was stare at me like hell.

“What did you say?” she urged me to repeat.

I shifted my attention from the laptop to her.

“I said Chester is cute.”

“That guy’s cute? He looks like a monkey!” she said and bursted out into a heavy round of laughter.

“No, sis. Swear, he’s cute.” I said in a serious tone, with a big smile on my face.

“You’re kidding me. I don’t find him cute, though he’s my bestfriend.” she said.

I remembered when I tickled his nose inside the library while he slept. He looked like an angel. The way he closed his eyes and his lips had slightly parted definitely turned me on. I felt like I was in heaven as I allowed myself to linger on the sight of him, and little did I know a smile had already shaped up my lips. These feelings started ever since I met him in Springville. He was this simple, down-to-earth guy, with a cute yet very seductive smile that had me head-over-heels in love with him. He was my perfect dreamboy, and I swore, from this day on, he was the man I’m going to marry.

“I think I’m in love with him, sis.” I said.

I was shocked at her reaction. She laughed out even more.

“I don’t care. He’s all yours.”

And with that, I turned back my attention to the laptop.
