"Milo and Meera broke up." Sierra informs me, linking her arm with mine and joining me on the sidewalk.
"Really?"
"I don't know the details but I just ran into Gabriel and he told me." She's hiding her glee poorly, and I tell her so. "I mourn their relationship. I really do."
"Right." I roll my eyes and consider sending Milo the Are You OK text.
"Apparently she slept in Abby's room last night."
"Aw, that sucks." Kind of. I don't know Meera very well; I suppose I'll gauge my sympathy on Milo's reaction.
"Mm...I wonder where Milo is."
"Why exactly do you want know?" I arch an eyebrow and she presses her lips together slyly.
God help us all.
