"Okay, you're being stupid. I don't know what's wrong, but you need to get your mind off of it."
"And how would you like me to do that?" I ask, holloway, flipping to another page of my textbook.
"My roommate told me about a party tonight down in Spryfield and we're going."
"I don't want to." Parties were never my cup of tea, even when Cam was actually here.
"I think you should go anyway."
"How would we get there?"
"With Gabriel."
"Gabriel is going?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. Whatever." I reply, going back to my book. He leans back with a smile. "And I'm not saying yes because you pressured me, I'm saying yes because I don't care."
"As long as it's a yes." He pets my hand and hops up from the table. "Now I need to sprint back to school, carry on."
