A/N: Wow! 30 parts! This is crazy and awesome! Love you guys. :)

It had only been a vison. A dream.

She awoke, back in her hospital bed, wires hooked up to many parts of her body. She looked around anxiously for a glimpse of Kai, Peter, Thomas, or anybody for that matter. It was silent. No sound was heard anywhere. The curtains were closed around her small room, so she couldn't see outside of her prison at all.

She sat there for a few seconds, trying to calm down and think about the dream she had had.

"Kai." She whispered shakily. In the dream... he looked her age... which made no sense, because if Kai was in fact her twin brother, they wouldn't have seen each other for years. Madeline would only remember what he looked like when he was younger. Somehow, her mind had created what he might have looked like in the present.

She twitched suddenly and sighed in response. She could feel her own insides being eaten alive by the chip in her brain. Her head shot up.

"It's Wicked." She said, a hint of insanity in her voice. "It's Wicked!!" She yelled. Sudden anger overtook her and she ripped the patches off that were connected to her that hooked up to a machine near by. She violently tugged each one off, the machine beeping every time in protest as each patch was detached.

When she had pulled off the last one, she stood up out of bed, instantly becoming dizzy as she stumbled a little. She put her palm to her forehead to press against the pain in her brain. She closed her eyes for a second, and when the pain cleared slightly. She clicked.

She threw the curtains out of her way, and walked into the hall in front of her. She clenched her fists at her side, her body shaking, her mind swirling, and her breath wheezing, but powerful.

She studied the room around her carefully, realizing she was in an infirmary. That's when the alarm went off. A long piercing bell rang before a muffled voice echoed over head.

"We have an emergency. Subject X1 has escaped. Repeat, Subject X1 has escaped. We need immediate backup."

Madeline panicked. She took off running before even thinking about what she was doing. She busted through the infirmary door, which lead to another hallway. Her mind wasn't letting her choose her own decisions, which led her to take a random route down the hall. The only other time Madeline had run this fast was when Grievers were chasing her through the maze. The adrenaline in her body was at maximum. Her breathing became rough and difficult and she clutched her chest as she ran through the endless hallways.

She stopped to bend over and catch her breath, her mind bombing her with dizziness.

"Over there!" She heard the distant echo of men and shot her head over to see them a far ways down the hall, pointing at her. She immediately felt terror when she saw them in full, black armor, holding huge and fat guns.

"Stop where you are! Don't go any further!"

Like she would obey that.

She took off again, the group of Wicked soldiers yelling after her. The alarms were blaring over head, lights flashing an evil red color. Why did they want her trapped so bad? She busted through doors, took sharp turns, pushed items out of the way. She was crazy and desperate.

"Thomas!" She yelled one time, hoping for his familiar deep voice to return her. But there was nothing.

She became anxious. The adrenaline inside her was threatening to burst at any moment and she would lose her mind. Or at least, what little she had left of it. After a few minutes of constant sprinting with deafening alarms and Wicked members running every where, she tripped. She hit the ground, landing right on her wrist which made a loud crack.

She screamed in pain, rolling over onto her back to examine her sudden injury.

"I would stop running if I were you." A face was hovering over Madeline's body.

"What are you doing, Peter?!" she yelled, her eyes brimming with tears at the pain in her wrist. Peter had a large gash on the side of his head where Madeline had hit him with a pipe just hours before.

"I came to stop you. You can't outrun the guards for long. Come on." He tried to help Madeline up, but in sudden fury, she kicked him in the legs, causing the boy to fall.

"No! I'm not going anywhere with you!" She screamed, terror lacing her voice. She pulled her bad hand into her chest and jumped up from the ground with sudden energy.

"Madeline No! Don't do this!" Peter got up from the ground and managed to grab the back of her shirt before she ran away. Madeline screamed, but Peter wrapped his arms around her waist, gripping tightly. Madeline flailed, scratching and kicking at the boy.

"Let me go!" She shrieked.

"You don't know what you're doing!" Peter yelled in reply, trying to raise his voice over the screaming alarm.

"Why do people keep saying that!" Madeline kicked Peter in the shin, resulting in a cry from him.

"Madeline!" She paused and looked up to see Thomas down the hall along with Newt, Minho, Frypan, Winston, and a tall boy she had never seen before. Peter stopped, and Madeline could tell he automatically felt threatened.

"Get out of here, Thomas." He said cooly. Thomas laughed and shook his head.

"Give me her, then I'll get out of here." He said, matching Peter's coolness. The alarm suddenly stopped and everyone looked around for a few seconds.

"Subject X1 spotted, she's in hallway 7B along with Peter, and the other subjects."

The muffled voice said through the sitcom.

"Other subjects?!" Minho hissed angrily.

"That's all you are here." Peter replied. Minho began to strut towards the boy that was holding Madeline, but Thomas stopped him.

"Give us Madeline, and we won't hurt you."

Peter shook his head.

"You don't understand." he said. "I'm going to save her."

Madeline screamed in protest and began to kick, but Peter suddenly took his finger and pushed it against the part of Madeline's head that held the chip. She gasped loudly, eyes rolling into the back of her head as she fell limp in Peter's arms.

Thomas panicked and began to walk towards Peter.

"What are you doing!?" He protested. Thomas stopped in his tracks when Peter suddenly pulled out a gun, pointing it right at Thomas' head.

"Come any closer, and I'll shoot you right through your brain."

"No..." Madeline said weakly, her eyes closing shut.

"Peter, what the shuck do you think you're doing? You're going to kill me?"

"Isn't that what you did to me? Payback I guess.." Peter growled.

"No!" Madeline said with more force. Her and Thomas shared a look with each other.

"It's not worth it Peter. Just give us Madeline." Thomas said, only a few feet from the two.

"You can have her when I'm done." Peter replied. With that he turned to walk away, carrying Madeline bridal style.

Then a gunshot rang out, continued by a long, drawn out, ear-splitting scream from Madeline that echoed, "No!"
