Chapter Sixteen

💗Lizzies Pov 💗

I woke up to someone tapping my nose. I blink a few times before completely opening my eyes. I see Joey smiling. I kissed his nose and got up. I walked into our attached bathroom. Joey followed me and picked me up and placed me on the counter. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he wrapped his arms around my waist. We stared into each other's eyes. He leaned in and connected our lips together. He bit my bottom lip. We pulled away and he rested his forehead on mine. "I am so happy you said yes." He whispered. His warm breath on my cold face made me shiver.

"I wouldn't say no." I say and remove my forehead to look at him in the eyes.

"I love you. More than anything, Lizzie,"

"I love you too, Joey." I say and take his cheek in my hand. I kiss him softly. He deepened the kiss by grabbing my back and pulling me into him. Then, the doorbell rang.

"Why does this always happen?" Joey whispers against my lips. I smiled and kiss him once more before getting off of the counter. I jogged downstairs and opened the door. I widened my eyes. I never wanted to see his face again. But here he was. Caspar.
