"Oh My God." Mikey said under his breath when I stepped out of the car, almost falling because of the heels Ashton had loaned me.
"What?" I asked Mikey pulling the sunglasses off to show my eyes, knowing that he was talking about me.
His eyes trailed my body stopping at my eyes, I quickly looked away, afraid the situation was going to get awkward.
"Oh just this this game I'm playing."He looked down at his phone, and smirked, then turned and slapped his friend on the back showing him his phone to back up his story.
I sighed, when was I ever going to get Mikey to show that he had feelings for me. He couldn't admit it, and I couldn't admit that I had feelings for me, this was going nowhere.
"Hi." Alexis hugged me."You're so tall, those heels make you look good." she stepped back getting a look at my heels that I had just about fell over in.
"Ya." I sighed taking off the heels and throwing them to the side. "I hate them." I smiled, now barefoot. I was comfotable being barefoot, I went that way most the time during the summer anyway. Back home I didn't even need shoes most the time
"Hello." Sarah walked out the door of her house giving me a warm, welcome smile. "This is Jason and Vinny, she laughed slapping them both on the head. I already sort of knew who they were, but vaguely. Vinny was very funny, thats why I remembered him, and Jason was very polite.
"Hello" I smiled reaching out my hand to shake theirs.
"What are you doing?" Vinny asked laughing looking at Jason who was also smirking.
"Trying to shake your hands." I admitted laughing. they both gave me a look.
"We don't shake hands here, this is what we do." He grabbed my wrist and brought to his hand giving me a high five, then using his other hand to fold down my fingers into a fist, giving him a fist bump.
I genuinly smiled, he was a funny guy. I repeated the action with Jason and took off with Sarah and Alexis into the kitchen.
"What's going on between you and Mikey?" Sarah asked pouring us some Fresh Lemonade she had made.
"Honestly, he is acting really weird , and I wish he would just snap out of it." I took a sip of my Lemonade expecting it to be sweet. I was wrong. I covered my mouth to keep myself from spitting it out, I shivered at its bitterness before gulping it down.
"Sour?" Mikey asked appearing in the doorframe. Oh My God, I hope he didn't hear the stuff I said before, he probably doesn't think there's anything going on between us.
I shook my head, gently placing the glass back on the table. I smiled at Sarah, "Just a little Sour."
Mikey walked over and took the empty seat across from me at the table. "You know everything in Jersey isn't as sweet as things in California." I smiled catching on realizing that he wasn't talking about the Lemonade, but he was talking about himself. I wasn't sure whether to be flatered because he just called me sweet, or concerned because he compared himself to Sour Lemonade. What kind of Metaphor was that?
"Well, I think I'll get used to it." I said regretting that I had just said that. Well in my mind I was talking about the Lemonade, so whatever Mikey wanted to think he could.
"I'm just saying that if you get your heart broken, you should have expected it."Alexis spit out her swig of Lemonade at what Mikey had just said. Mikey didn't even give her a glace, but ran his hand over his cheek wiping off the bit of Lemoande on his cheek, his eyes were still trained on me, so I quickly looked at Sarah who was keeping quiet, but still looked shocked, I on the other hand was pissed. Mikey was a complete jerk.
